  1. Hahaha keep it coming
  2. Not released yet. If you're there from late November for 4 weeks you'll be fine. NISMO is usually the first weekend of December. Last year Revspeed TA was the Friday after NISMO
  3. No updates in a while, is it too hot up there still to be playing with cars?
  4. Noel you big old banana bender everyones definition of "Ultimate" is different so it will be virtually impossible to make the ultimate setup, for example rwd vs awd, singles vs twins etc - as you know its the entire package that makes the setup not just a good bottom end and a fancy head
  5. You dont need a billion to have a Ti bottom end but you do need a lot Ti rods are simple enough to get (with enough money haha). I know one guy who wants Ti pistons, thats going to cost him. Id hate to know what a Ti crank costs and even then how effective it would be. The scary thing is, he's serious
  6. Hey all, SAUNSW now (Thanks to Terry and Japlink) has a clubhouse for the use of execs and club members! Its approx 32sqm large, secure, centrally located and a "fresh sheet of paper" so to speak. Suburb is Haberfield. We will use it for club AGM's, Exec meetings, meetups etc, watching F1/WRC/V8Supercars and tech nights. But before that happens, we need to deck it out - so here's the deal; WE NEED FURNITURE!!!! So we are asking for everyone out there with spare furniture to please donate it to a good cause - eg SAU We're ideally after; + fridge + bar unit + stackable chairs x30 approx + picture hooks + vacuum cleaner + portable air cond or split system must be working + Flatscreen TV or good quality projector + dvd player/accessories + shelving + filing cabinet + computer desk (N1GTR will donate) + pinball machine + popcorn machine ....and anything else that will make it feel more like a club house We have an offer of a flatbed truck for the clubs use while we're moving in, so thats great, we just need the actual stuff to move now. Please help out and post up what stuff you have that can be donated, pics would be nice aswel if possible. We can pickup at a time that suits you from pretty much whereever. Cheers all -Steve SAUNSW President
  7. That's just it, the game changes at that power level and above. As much as I appreciate the replies and everyone trying to help, any suggestion that's from someone with 450hp atw isn't really helping cause it's all so different at 600hp atw plus. I guess most guys with big power (450+) just stick pods in there and leave it at that
  8. I'm not talking feel, I'm talking back to back dyno runs on my car on the same dyno and no difference Still, it needs to be legal and of course fit in the engine bay which being a GTR is cramped enough as it is, so no pods here
  9. Is that the one with te37's? Is that rb30? And if so, what have you done to shut the bonnet?
  10. Exactly! My theory on this is a massive surface area for the filter to allow the filter to not have to work as hard but still flow
  11. Hahahaha good work Ash you moron hahaha!!!!
  12. Lol fattox If H beams are so bad there's a lot of manufacturers that you'd better go and tell! Also, are you going to have 1600hp? Are you going to spend the mega bucks to allow you to spin it to 12,000rpm safely? Even 9000rpm is a lot for a street driven car. A well matched turbo to suit whatever bottom end you go with will make it a fast car. No point having a T51RSPL that comes on at 6000rpm when the car next to you has a responsive and linear powerband as that car will be further down the road by the time you bring it on between corners/sets of lights. It's just plain fkn stupid to buy something based on numbers which are unrealistic for what you're going to use it for. Sure all the parts in question are quality etc and lots of supporters for all different brands but FFS go talk to a machinist with experience and listen to what they have to say
  13. Everytime i come down i help out where possible, generally the skidpan in the afternoon. Its dead easy to help out and still have a go, just get whoever runs before you to do your job for your run then swap back Good idea Kieran
  14. Bloody cheater cars
  15. Yeah mate agreed but if possible id like a solution that doesnt mean changing the ARC box and getting rid of all restrictions. You should see how hard it sucks during loaded dyno sessions. What kw were you at? Wouldnt have any pics of the box once modified? Maybe will let you know if i do Dimensions would be fantastic thanks Ages ago i did M's vs this ARC box vs a stock airbox with nismo S tune filter. No difference at 262 rwkw between the 3, however i'm not talking those low number anymore and it all goes out the window with this much power Couldnt find a K&N filter for it, tried that already, it had one before but i threw it out thinking genuine ARC would be better - tried to find that size filter again and couldnt. This isnt a drama for most cars, just the big hp ones
  16. Great work buddy
  17. Actually scratch that it says it worked
  18. Sure the fax number is correct? it seems to have a recorded message...? Sending forms for myself, intune and PIGGAZ
  19. Awesome thanks
  20. What time did Chris do? Snowy? I'd love to give this place a go, shame it's not the same weekend as a Deca
  21. They said do a little burnout, so I did http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gTPLXUwuzz8 Anyway, the others there Jez and Dean with responsive 2.6's like yours were pretty damn quick so it will suit you to a tee
