  1. Very reliable
  2. Ordered thanks
  3. As a devout 2630 owner, I'd love GTSS on a 3L in hill runs with 180 degree switchbacks. Anywhere else it would suck though.
  4. Aaand that post proves your ignorance on the subject
  5. Not enough gearboxes and driveshafts in the country? Haha
  6. Straight black
  7. Hey all, Ive had it confirmed from a reliable source that on the 22nd of this month, Vodafone McLaren Mercedes will be doing a bit of a promo stunt at Mt Panorama involving Jenson Button setting a time using an F1 car then swapping with Craig Lowndes and using the V8 Supercar for laps of the circuit. Incase you've been living under a rock, here's what a McLaren looks like; .......and here's what Lowndes V8 looks like; So myself and a group of others have booked a hotel room looking onto the track. Here's the view from the exact room we booked; We are staying on the night of the 21st, so we have the use of the balcony to watch the cars do the roundy round thing on the 22nd. If you want to come along and see an awesome car and a cab doing their thing, then come along!!! Rooms are surprisingly affordable and it looks like even the cheapest single rooms have a balcony looking at the track. Here's a pic of a single room; Now for anyone that wants to book the hotel website is here; http://www.mirvachotels.com/citigate-mount-panorama-bathurst/guest-rooms So......... thats it really. This works out well for anyone who wanted to go to the GP in Melbourne but cant for whatever reason, Bathurst is only 3 hours away so you could even drive there on the day then drive back later that night. Cheers -Steve
  8. There are a number of shops who do 50k's or so after a quick drive around the block to make sure of no leaks, then turn it up and give it back to the owner at full power Mine was done like that, installed and started, check for leaks, 100k's of run in then booked for the dyno
  9. Fu(king yes. Bring it on.
  10. Yeah BB thats what i thought, but then surely there's an increase in resistance from the extra distance and turns involved for the water and of course its logical to conclude that will increase strain on the pump as a result....or so im thinking...

  16. ^^^ I'd love to know where to get those sockets for wheel changes!
  17. May be best to call Brad, he usually posts up in here but it looks like he may need a gentle reminder
  18. There you go! Shame it won't happen for GTRs
  19. I'd also go Matt black on the front lip. Will look out of this world sexy
  20. I'm sure there's a muscle car having new shells made (or "reproduced") in USA. It might be the mustang but not 100% sure. There's also a heap of places making reproduction parts for those muscle cars. Shame the GTR Market isn't big enough to warrant that happening for us
  21. That's too easy, the ones I wanted weren't available from shops here so I bought from UK. Go RBR;
  22. ^^^Love the sig, so valid for this thread hahaha Why is the 26 head inferior to the 2J head? The numbers a stock 2J head will do is nothing short of crazy. Here's a fair fight, 1995, skip to the end thats what matters; There's even another BMI vid there with a 32 vs Supra, same track and while the 32 comes second last and the Supra is last (the turbo AWD's were in that race), the 32 did a 1.08.75 but the Supra did a 1.08.00 Good point on the 1J heads on 2J bottoms, id love to know why they do that other than money. The people ive spoken to that are in that community have mainly all said its due to the 1J's being quite old now, and 2J bottom ends being so reliable and cheap its a simple and cheap fix plus they get a bit more capacity at the same time, so in that respect its sort of like a skyline owner and an rb30
  23. That sucks! Its been ages since i saw you at one, got to be at least a year and a half. Oh well there's always the next one Ill try and bring my R to the next one after this one
