  5. Is it just me or has anyone noticed a drop off in spectators since Taco Baz's got crappy and we stopped drinking there? I remember ages ago people would come up just to drink and those people would help out through the day, there never seemed to be a shortage back then
  6. The C spec in my experience is pretty damn close to the same driving wise. Its not like there's the difference of another plate in there. If the standard one will do for your power, just get that and save the $300. Before a rebuild of the box, use redline and see if that fixes it. Well, its not a fix, more a band aid until you can be bothered bilding the box
  7. Hey guys, Bad news from CAMS; Great news if you're into Hillclimbs though; So HUGE WELL DONE to Gunnedah and Cooma Councils for actually doing something about motorsport without waiting for the State Government to do something about it (as we know, they wont). Feel free to discuss, any points/comments I can take to the relevant people at CAMS or the sub groups for the relevant area (tracks or hillclimbs)

    Drag Day

Hey all, The exec team has discussed the feasibility of a drag day at WSID between ourselves and there's one "snag" stopping us going forward with it. Here's the situation; WSID (for some crazy reason, lets not get into that) have a rule that says you cant go faster than 11.00 on a private/club day. Nothing stops you backing off half track if you know you'll break into the 10's though. So for our club to hire the track we need to get an indication of numbers so we dont expect 50 entrants for example and then get only 10 as we have to pay for the other spots. Cost will be $200 per entrant, $50 per double entered driver. That includes crew entry aswel. Date TBA of course but it will be a long way off so everyone can attend that wants to and there's heaps of time to get leave from work, permission from the wife etc So, who's keen? Only post up if you're actually keen not just increasing your post count or killing time. Thanks!!! -Steve SAUNSW President

  10. Get a better broker. Hundreds of unstamped blocks have come into the country. Edit; you're not in Oz are you
  11. Use someone else then.
  12. That's WAY too much effort to consider these as a product I'd use.
  13. Sure they were talking about oil squirters or were they talking about wrist/gudgeon pin oiling? A lot of rods have double wrist pin oiling so it's much of a muchness.
  14. I can't believe the lack of helpers on Deca days. I've driven down to help out and not enter FFS, anyone standing around just has no excuse. So glad our khana days don't have this problem
  15. http://www.formula1.com/news/interviews/2011/4/11886.html Love him or hate him, you have to agree with his point here. He goes on to say he's against the new motors about to be introduced
  16. That's funny I remember a NSW supra (stock auto) knocking out a VIC supra the time before last...
  17. While speaking with the owner of Midori earlier this year he said they tried them and to stick with HKS.
