  1. No problemo Bobby. Ill be in the usual spot at turn 12 (well, between pestering uncle dunc in the pits)
  2. Which AP kit was it? A nice strong pedal isnt bad
  3. Dont you have a "build" you should be doing? Anyway, Dave knows what its like
  4. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...t&p=4548868 Ive traded with him, he's a good bloke
  5. I demand a ride/drive at Skids mate You can have a go of my GTR in return if you like
  6. As i said, personal experience Glad to see its fixed I dont come in here very often, but if you read this thread carefully and do a quick search you'll see the answer. The answer was ENGINE MOUNTS! CRD should know to check them if front CV's keep on breaking, especially when its a car they just tuned - its another chance for them to rape your wallet. My car is lowered so far the rims dont fit under the guards without lots of neg camber, so yes im using a kit, AND had direct success (just like the guy above your post) after replacing mounts. I suggest you start there
  7. Well its interesting you say that, as from what im finding out the cost to extrude hone is comparable(ish) to buying a set of 6boosts. So id like to see results back to back 6boost vs modded stockers EDIT: UAS is the cheapest so far, which is a suprise
  8. No probs will do Cheers Vic plates must be longer then, i was worried about putting BNR32 on as the old plates had been modified to fit although if the previous person to fit plates to it actually gave a sh!t he/she couldve done it without butchering the old plates. They were just generic ABC123 plates so i guess the carefactor wasnt high at all
  9. Im hoping to be there aswel
  10. Reason i ask is that there's a few guys here (including myself) using cleaned up stock manifolds and getting good results, but for me at least its always been in the back of my mind "did i make a mistake with the manifolds?!" My motor is out quite soon and its a good chance to organise some different manifolds for it Thanks
  11. Greg the "modified exhaust", are you meaning cleaned up stock manifolds, opened up exhaust ports or something completely different? I notice you said the stock manifolds are basically a problem, but for example what sort of difference do you think would be gained by getting some new manifolds - tomei, 6boost etc?
  12. DRDOOF has one for sale, check the for sale area
  13. Generally its not as hard as a "spirited" drive through old pac Go as hard or soft as you like. If you're going too hard ill tell you, if you want advice etc on the day, there will be heaps of people around who can help. Its a day of fun, nto trying to get the fastest time of the day, so come along and go at your own pace, its great using a GTR off the street
  14. So, is this moving yet? I bet you cant wait to get it back
  15. Shutup Vic, just enter "weeeee going off is the best part"
  16. Any pics of the porsche?
  17. Try www.supraforums.com.au Also, for a bargain you'll have to travel, dont be suprised if one pops up in Sydney or Melbourne
  18. Oh and yeah im in the same boat, RB30 and GTRS's is years ahead of my old RB26 with twins
  19. Marko does the minister for finance and fun approve?
  20. No, not unless your bonnet doesnt have a 2nd click when you shut it. Eg, if you pull the bonnet lever from in the cabin and it pops up then WITHOUT lifting the latch behind the grill the bonnet will open all the way, then you'll need the rope. Otherwise the first restraint is the latch from inside the cabin, second restraint is the latch behind the grill Make sense?
  21. Mmmmm a VQ35 (ill excuse that its not inline) and GTRS's would be a dream!
  22. Great to hear guys Dont worry its very easy on first timers, just dont be afraid to ask questions on the day, im easy to find, ill be the guy who does the drivers brief
  23. Of course there's more money involved, its a GTR after all Not worried about power figures, just where the peak power is in the rpm range
  24. Marko i dont suppose you feel like changing to 260's and retesting?
