  1. Brisbane VL guru's JW Auto are producing an external kit we are helping them design. After problems getting the last supplier to move on these JW is keen to produce a bolt on kit for us. These kits will unfortunately for some require the removal of air-con but will utilise a modified STD pump housing making them a truely 'bolt on' kit. Very easy for someone with basic mechanical skills to install and will come with ATI balancer, modified pump housing, Peterson single stage pump, CNC'd adjustable pump bracket, Gilmer drive pulley's, anodised fittings and braided lines. They wont be cheap but they will be the best 'wet' sump set-up for RB's. Once JW provide a sample kit for us we will make them available for limited release via a group buy.
  2. i have 1 Nitto pump left from the group buy thread...the only pumps i now use other than external. Ive seen a Nitto pump 'eat' metal and not get damaged...i don't even think a Tomei pump could do that and survive.
  3. I have a pair if you want them...stockers that is.
  4. our external oil pump kits are being CNC'd at the moment too...they will be nice. Teamed with the sump is the ultimate 'wet' set-up.
  5. Kyle Vance...you are racing in Street Compact...see you there and good luck.
  6. lol...thats like saying to him "pete there is a fridge full of cold beer but don't drink any of it"
  7. can do you a 9 litre jobbie...pm if your interested.
  8. my car was the test car for HPI and appeared on the cover of the GTR special no.1...bog stock it ran 12.9. EDIT: sorry it actually had a HKS catback exhaust and M's pod filters fitted. Everything else was standard.
  9. thats exactly what i thought when i read the post too. welcome to the forums Brad.
  10. not a miss-print...its here for 11.5K http://firesport.com.au/r32-gtr-price-drop...s--ad138097.htm
  11. The rear seal does not see oil pressure. I would not be concerned with the level you mentioned on a cold engine. Oil pressure is your friend.
  12. My friends car was a mildly modified late model SS Commodore and he's quite a sensible mature driver.
  13. Just thought id let everyone know the scene in Newcastle has taken a big hit. Cops are not even bothering to pull people over now, they just send your licence details to the DECC and instruct you to attend the workshop at Redhead. Even modifying your car to pass then re-modifying it can land you in hot water as your car is extensively photographed and if caught changing the car back will result in fines/loss of points/licence. My friend got breath tested the other day, cops wrote the plate down and today got issued with a notice to attend. Nazi's
  14. probably why they didn't bother. They have been 'schooled' in exhaust appearance (whats OEM) and even injector colours...the injectors is one of the first things they look for when they pop the hood as well as the usual pod filter (useless mod anyway) and blow off valve stuff. If the injector colour isn't right they then want to see the ecu. Days of cruising around in a highly modded import is history.
  15. Im surprised you were not inspected and defected also...as in Victoria the Commisioner has issued a directive for all imports that are pulled over to be inspected for defects as the have an 80% success rate of issuing a notice.
  16. i spot Black R34 GTR GTR-34V all the time....yesterday it was just around the corner from my house. i also spotted white R32 GTR BJI-11A (b'jilla) near Mater a few days ago.
  17. The only thing that was touched up with the tuning by human input was the timing...the ECU tuned the fuel map automatically. Im going E85 in my drag car after Jamboree...NIB how was the power ouput in your racecars when switching to E85 ? what fuel were you using before ?
  18. its not an infomercial...its a community service announcement. Guilt-Toy tried filling the car up with E85...with a BP98 tune in the ecu...touched nothing...after a few stumbles on fire up the car happily idled like a dream. A few K's of driving up the road and it was retuned for the new fuel...it was freaky.
  19. Quick vid of quick tune...the Vi-PEC program that allows the car to tune itself. Simply set the target air fuel table for desired AFR's, hook a wideband up to the ecu and watch the magic happen.
  20. no they were Mark Jacobsen's KYB's i lent you...he did 8's with them.
  21. nah just the off the shelf HKS coilovers...not the drag type either, they are circuit ones.
  22. i just got mine 2pac'd in black...but ive never fitted them...the rims look tougher without the caps in black.
