  1. such a shame a nice car has to be stripped for parts to sell it.
  2. one left guys.
  3. start at the Roxy...then walk down George St to the Albion.
  4. I just asked Stace, she said its the plugs. but she always says that. (and most of the time she is right)
  5. Technically i didn't enter two Riceysalons...being the Power Champion at the Newcastle event gives you an automatic entry to the Final Battle Power Championship for the Invitational Class. Won trophy for the toughest car at Final Battle against a few 1000KW monsters...i was pretty chuffed (and hungover from the all night/zero sleep drinking session on the Saturday night). Doof was jacking off to R rated porn he ordered on my hotel room account while i was out clubbing till 5am.
  6. did you buy it for Duncan the Autosalon whore ?
  7. no he's not...its just a case of looking in and seeing where the tab was and lining the CAS up before installing. I had no locator in my Tomei 260's for years and never had too much trouble installing the CAS in the right position. the factory rubber ring with the spacers must be used if not running a cover, they are available from Nissan.
  8. When she had the baby she handed me the keys...lucky fella eh? I entered it in the last two Autosalons so i could do a bit of cockflopping myself...even more boring than drag racing so it didn't firm up.
  9. in the same breath...Mark Jacobsen has made 1250hp at the tyres with stock (not even N1) RB26 blocks thats 1500hp! no issues. Just got to build them right. The RD28's are well documented on here but not many use them. Marko's not chasing mega power, just a nice responsive streeter that will hold its own against the best that Hyster has to offer.
  10. passengers? my car only has 1 seat
  11. 1007 to be exact...engine though...not at the treads. dyno's are shit though...real performance is measured at the racetrack.
  12. T67-25G in the race car and TD06-20G in the street car Mass Air Flow...its your AFM's Marko
  13. Rob Marjan is running a 62 on his R32 GTR...he loves it. 1200kg...bloody hell...mines 170kg more than that, but ive kept all the body panels factory and doors intact and only the interior in the rear is removed and been replaced with carbon fibre panels. Its OK to drive like that on the road and is reasonably comfortable. Ive bought some Strange carbon drag brakes to try and shed some weight without stripping the car any more bare. Keep the thread going with plenty of pics and updates as we dont see many drag car builds on here. Cheers
  14. and i thought i had some toys to play with...you guys are off the hook!
  15. 9K...no one said you had a bad tune mate...or at least i didn't...i just told you how much timing i run. You know how much yours had in it...mine has 5 deg less when tuned for race fuel. Simple maths would tell you what mine is running, i was just trying to point out another assumption (that i run mega timing) you made about my set-up was not correct. You assumed from what i posted i was rubbishing your tune...You are off the mark again, ive posted the quote below...have another read...mate im not a tuners bumhole so im not qualified to comment whether the tune was good or bad...just quoting some figures. What did you expect me to do...let you make up some fiction about the whole deal and for me to giggle at you and allow it to pass...c'mon you know me better than that. I found it a tad offensive what you posted so my reply was quite direct. I was over it and i believe you were from post #224...but you posted another silly remark. So again you force my hand. Next month ill try and catch up when in QLD...so we can have a beer and a chat...its the best way.
  16. Im sure Trent will recommend you buy a Link. So do i.
  17. please pm
  18. I think your last question is what Trent is refering to.
  19. do you still have... CA18 fan clutch SR20DE throttle body thanks
  20. Tony, your points are spot on, im just thinking about the guys here who have ran them and struggled. Theo Wollett used to run one and it didn't perform well, they have trouble coping with high shaft speed needed to make the power. Theo went through quite a few items before giving up and using a Garrett based turbo. RH9 also tried one and ran into the same issues with performance. It now runs a Garrett based turbo and makes spastic power without issues. Glen may have been a like the Japs and known how to achieve good results with them reliably. Us aussie's havent had a lot of luck with them. cheers
  21. with small rims for the drag radials big brakes are not able to be fitted. They are heavy also and are unsprung weight. It can shed some valuable kilo's without haing to hack the car up. Im struggling to pull the car up with the stock R32 brakes as well. The parachute will be fitted but pulling it and packing it after every run is a pain also. The brakes came at a good price and will allow me to 'donate' the GTR brakes to my S13 project car.
  22. Yeah...350 at the treads and "she's all stock officer" love it.
