She needed to turn her head a little bit more to her right as well as her left eye is under-exposed but it's really only a minor thing. You've done well.

17-40mm + EOS 350D There's nothing in it when it comes to zoom length and wide angle between the 17-40mm and 18-55mm however it focuses much faster, is much sharper and just feels nicer in general. 16-35mm Vs. 17-40mm - is it really worth the extra coin for 1 stop?

Yeah those shots were done at Final Battle, not the Sydney round from earlier in the year. We did have a stand at the Hordern event back in May too.

I've got an Eonon unit installed in my commonwhore which cost bugger all ($200) and it does everything except make my breakfast! Doesn't have GPS or BT but it plays nearly every format known and has USB support which I use my 8GB thumbdrive with. Looks like this:
