i got my r32gtr through Danny @ imports 101 not a problem my advice is ring them yourself and spekto him . he will set your mind atease over any problems you can thinkof

i importedmy r32 gtr almost 6 months ago and as yet havent had to spend a cent on it except for normal servicing. if you import all oils etc are replaced as part of compliance so thats not a worry but yes check compression . main prob with 32's would be the age of them so check carefully for rust ( i was lucky and havent found any on mine yet) but its something to be weary of with the age of the car whether its an import or aus car anything 13 to 17 years old would be checked for rust so its not a specific import versus local build issue

you could also get a 32 gtr and have lots money left over for big spending spree of quality go fast bits. there are quite a few good gtrs both 33's and 32's for sale in the for sale section of forums some with go fast bits already attached

i found this underneath the right hand rear of my gtr and have no idea what it is and since i found it there is a rattling underneath the car. Anyone have any ideas???

well its not a true gtr as it isnt straight off the factory floor from nissan yes autech is wholly owned by nissan but its is a seperate subdivision like nismo

well my jap spec rims are rated at 680 kg load each when the stock gtr rims are rated at 650 kg each so my jap spec aftermarket rims are actually stronger than factory nissan rims they are AME Circlar GTA

you are wrong there . well in west australia anyway we have whats called a plus 1 and plus 2 rule that means you cn only go up to 2 inches over factory size eg... r32gtr comes out with16 x 8 rims can legaly only go to 18 x 8 rims . we cant go over 8 inches wide law here states that ya can only be wider than 7 inches if your vehicle came from factory with wider than 7 inch and if it did you cannot go wider than genuine factory width which is stated on the tyre placard inside the passenger side door
