Hey Guys, who ever is concerned about defects should be more concerned about what they should be bringing in their Eski! If your going to drive like an idiot and be immature then your asking to be pulled over, booked and defected... i have been going on these cruise's for years and all the 'drop kicks' that get defected are driving sh*t boxes and acting like maniac's on the road.. and all the genuine club members with their 10sec machines have had no hassell at all... Don’t mean to spoil your sale but i sold the exact same front pipe last week for $200... i know $400 is what retail price is but this is an online forum... you cant expect to sell the same price as retailers... there are traders in the traders section selling custom dump and front pipes way cheaper then $400... My advise is don’t be greedy and stubborn... be reasonable! Good luck with your sale... Regards

This is the BEST Skyline club and forum there is! we surely can organise a meeting place and cruise to wollongong together... my mate is a member of calaisturbo.com and their organising a meet for the Super Cruise... at the moment the only decent meet i have been invited to is with the Belview Bodyworks boys in Sylvania.. if no one is going to organise a decent meet and cruise with SAU then i think ill have to join the calaisturbo and belview boys in their cruise.. LINKS - Im currently running the Hi-Boost mode on my factory solenoid therefore constant 7psi... my car is fairly stock except for the split dump and 3" hi flow CAT and exhaust + K&N Pannel filter (165rw/kw) and at 4500 - 5000RPM i get a slight pop (at times) from the exhaust and a rush of power to redline! Its not a misfire for sure cause theres no hesitation and the coils + NGK plugs are only 6 months old.. Im definate its the NVCS kicking in via ECU and CAM gears... all i was hoping to do is get it kicking sooner to get more bottom end... i guess ill need an aftermarket ECU... Do you guys think resetting my factory ECU would help after getting the exhaust or any other mod fitted?? any benifits? Cheers

Hey guys, I been reading up and apparently the series II RB25det's have NVCS which is like VVT/VVL.. and also apparently it is controlled by a solenoid somewhere on the engine... at the moment, untill I hit 4500RPM, the tourqe is nothing special.. but from 4500 to redline you get a huge rush of power!! its even noticable on my dyno graph... Heres my question... is it possible to to have the solenoid always 'on' so that you have the advanced timming on bottom end too?? or to even connect a switch to it similar to the "high boost mode" idea??? Anyone got a pic of this solenoid?? Regards, Sarkis

Hey Guys, im getting my EL Dials installed this weekend and im looking for a PSI reading (not BAR) Boost Gauge to match the back lighting of my EL Dials... I have attached a pic of how the EL dials look illuminated to give you an idea of what colour im after... I know that APEXi have the EL2 gauge but for $250 its bit more then I would like to pay for a mechanical boost gauge. Any cheaper alternative brands and models you guys recommend? Regards, Sarkis

Ok guys, my 165rw/kw is getting bit too plain now.. Needing more shove in the back acceleration My R33 is virtually stock as a rock except for the 3" split dump and 3" exhaust and K&N panel filter... Now my next mods are: FMIC Aftermarket ECU + Boost Controller Injectors Fuel Pump My questions is, what specs of each Mod should I go for in order to accommodate future engine re-build or larger turbo... in other words what FMIC size would be good enough for a larger or hi-flowed turbo and 15+ psi? What size injectors and fuel pump would be sufficient for 250+rw/kw applications? etc... Another thing, what mods are recommended to increase bottom end power? up until 4500 RPM when the VCT kicks in, there isn’t much power on bottom end as shown on my dyno graph... Thanks heaps guys! Mate that’s what I like to see, some creativity!!! I have been searching for a similar pod to fit a boost gauge in my S2 R33 but cant find one... those pillar pods arn't too bad but are a definite defect in NSW... please keep me posted with pics on how it turns out! Maybe you could be a buddy by making 2 of your prototype pod and seeing how it looks in my car hehehe... looking good so far! keep up the great work... Regards, Sarkis

Hey Guys, my R33 is almost due for its 65,000kms service and im just trying to decide which Oil and oil filter to use... I have read that Nissan recommends a 10W40 viscosity... And found that Castrol have a new synthetic oil called Castrol EDGE and is specialised in high RPM engines... As for oil filter im currently using a Cooper... nothing special but seems to work fine... Any recommendations as to what type & brand of Oil and Oil filter I should use to give me smoother performance?? Cheers, Sarkis
