  1. Hmmm Confusing.... Anyway, I'm just going by what's on the rail sticker, so no, I'm not 100% sure about the rail. With that said though, I would be prepared to remove the buyer's drivers seat and test fit the rail in their car before completing the sale ( I'm a qualified mechanic and VERY carefull ) Looking at the rail, it doesn't look like it's been messed with and just looks like the left rear mount has 2 holes to suit GT/GTt coupe & GT-R (?) When I tried to fit it to my sedan, the front mount points lined up perfectly, the left rear ( tunnel mount ) was very close but the rear right ( door side ) mount hole was further back and slightly off to the side ( door side ). Anyway, I'm happy to test fit the rail in to a perspective buyer's car and if it doesn't fit, I'll go back to the SAU Trader and discuss this And according to that link, This means the coupe seats are supposed to be more narrow and shorter than the sedan seats. This EB seat is the same height as my sedan seat and is wider. So............. ? AFAIK, the front seats ARE interchangeable throughout the sedans and coupes but the rails are not. BJV, Thanks for the advise re that option. Can you PM me details like price and where you had it done please. Might be an option bloodsword27, I'll keep your offer ( PM'd one ) in mind but for now I'd rather sell both the rail & seat together.
  2. PM replied to. And so nobody else asks, the spots are on the camera lense, not on the seat NOTE: If you have a rail for sale that will suit this seat and most importantly, a 4 door R34, PM me cause I don't really want to sell this
  3. Bought this seat and rail off a trader here on SAU only to find out after I got it that the rail won't fit in a 4 Door ( my fault ) Anyway, it's now back up for sale. The rail will suit R34 GT 2 door, R34 GTt 2 door and I believe R34 GT-R. Condition is "VERY" good ! Seat. Rail. Price:$700 Sydney sale only. Will not post. Post here or PM if interested.
  4. Can't find any leaks, heaps of A grade coolant etc. Today was around the same temp but the engine temp didn't go up so........ Here's where the temp normally is and the red line is where it went up to. Maybe a sticking thermostat. Will have to monitor I guess.
  5. I think it was around the low 30's mark. Also, noticed that lately the thermo fan has been on even at normalish operating temps I thought it was only supposed to come on if the A/C was on or if the engine temp got too hot, but not at normalish operating temps.
  6. Yesterday I was driving home with the A/C on and noticed the temp was slightly up. Normally the gauge needle is in the middle ( flat ) or just below but yesterday it was about 3mm above the middle. I'm not getting too concerned just yet but was just wondering how other RB25DE NEO owners run temp wise on a hot day ?? Especially those of you up in QLD or WA who cop big temps. Feedback please.
  7. Cheers
  8. Could someone please translate the text on this rail for me ? The main part I'm after is the blue text next to "R34" Thanks in advance

  12. Been searching & can't find what I'm after so...... How do the K500's compare to EBC Greenstuff for cold & hot stopping ( street use only ) ? Cheers.

  14. That is "NOT" going to be OK Bypass the re-grind and either get some new or 2nd hand ones IMO.
  15. lol. New boyfriend time ? A mate of mine had rthe same thing happen with a can of deoderant. Whole inside of the car was white :laughing-smiley-014: Car smelled better for a while tho.
  16. I only watched the first bit of that and had to shut it down. That's f'n hardcore ! I agree with alu-siv_stagea. This is the sort of stuff that people need to see before they get "too" confident behind the wheel. I can still remember when I hit an 8 year old kid with my R31. Not my fault as he shot out from behind a van on his skateboard and straight in front of my car, and then, BAM, I see this kid flying off the front of my car like a rag doll. Kid was a bit messed up but survived. Words can't describe how you feel after that ! Unfortunately, most people just think of these adds as a Hollywood production and ignore it. Only those who've been there or seen it in the flesh can vouch for how real and f*#ked up it is. Once you become a parent, this is the shit, nightmares are made of. As far as I'm concerened, they should show this stuff to kids in year 11 & 12 as part of a driver training program. Who cares about history or art etc. You prol wont use them every day of your life, but you'll prol get behind the wheel every day once you leave school. *end rant*
  17. Having driven the GMS R31 in front of a crowds ( although usually jumping the start ), I'm surprised your head fits in any of the other cars
  18. True but the RB30E progressed into the RB20E and both were really only concessions to the RB20DET and were a work in progress which evolved into the RB25DE. From the RB25DE they moved on to the N/A V6 in the Z and so on........
  19. Just an opinion but I'd say because the RB30 is a more stable platform being a low tech, lower reving engine.
  20. 1. That's cool. Wasn't having a go at you but was just busy. Sorry if I sounded harsh 2. Simply put, Yes. But, in different ways. The Plenum / resinator box / collector / accumulator is more for engine "stability". NVCS is directed more towards performance. 3. Spot on !
  21. Most people that have done this have found the car is worse down low, OK in the mid range & better in the top end. Do a search & have a read.
  22. 1. Yes ( AFAIK ) 2. Yes. It's there to hold low restriction air ( air that has to come through the filter has a higher restriction ). 3. A bigger box probably won't help any. An extra feed "might" help but it would have to be cold air... You have to remember, NISSAN have done a large amount of R & D with enviroments and instruments that simulate everything to produce the best all-round result so messing with the factory design is likely to leave you with improvements in one area but a reduction in another. With that said though, there's always room for improvement and it's fun to see if you can better what the factoy has done if you have the time and $'s to play At a guess, I would say the best low cost performance upgrade for the N/A induction would be to keep the factory set-up from the engine to the AFM and then just install an APEXi pod filter and partition the pod off so you have only fresh / cool air supplied to it. I haven't done this so I'm just guessing All I've done is put an APEXi panel filter in. I honestly don't believe that the RB25DE NEO could max out the factory induction system. Sorry for the long arse response.
  23. The way I see it, off the left side of the engine ( from the front ), the collective cast metal pipes that bolt to the head are known as the lower half of the inlet manifold and then the upper half of the inlet manifold. Although I have heard of people refering to the upper half as a plenum. The part I'm refering to as a plenum is also known as a collector. The "inlet pipe" is the part that connects the AFM to the plenum / collector and the throttle body. Anyway, call it what you will, the black plastic bucket on the right side of the engine is what I was talking about
  24. What you're talking about is refered to as an intake plenum and it's there to provide off-idle and low range throttle response for an N/A. It's like a chamber that holds an extra air supply close to the throttle butterfly for accelleration so the engine has air available when the throttle snaps open and the fuel is delivered. Take it away and your engine will probably feel sluggish in the low to mid range and want to stall in traffic, but should be OK at the track. You can re-tune your ECU but that will only go so far. The circular chambers are there to help with air turbulence and to help with intake sound dampening ( resonation ).
  25. I like ! But, is it just me or does it look a little too much like a japanese Z4 ( not a bad thing but I guess )
