  1. As per the title. Would really like info on diff ratio's for the following please or links to the info. R34 GT - Manual - Auto R34 GTV - Manual - Auto R34 GTT - Manual - Auto Thanks.
  2. Won't be able to give feedback for a while since Gasweld are out of these jacks. Won't have any in stock until late August
  3. How much for the standard gearknob ? Couldn't see a price, just a pic.
  4. PM sent.
  5. I'm with you ! The Macquarie "all consuming" Group.....
  6. Yep, this is the one I'm talking about ( not the one Richard & Spencer were using which was a dangerous POS as Richard said ). This model you have benm is much better, but I've still seen failures in the castor wheel bearings. edit: BTW, I've ordered one of the Gasweld ones @ $215 ( ) so I'll give some feedback when I get it and try it out.
  7. Nisswreck, sent you a PM but no response. My first preference is for one like this if anyone has one
  8. You will more than likely get a fine in the mail soon. You are only allowed to drop off on the Departures level and pick-up's are now forced into the Macquarie Bank money pit ( the car park ). If you're thinking of fighting it, read the fine details carefully and remember that you're taking on Macquarie Bank.
  9. If you have a GTV it will have the turbo brakes fitted from factory and will have GTT wheels. Hope that answers your question
  10. That was me. I ended up borrowing a set of R32 GT-R wheels ( with tyres ) and fit them on my car and they actually looked pretty tough but a little odd Hard to explain..... I wanted them for the larger tyre profile which would be a softer ride for everyday driving ( plus 225/50/16's are cheap ) and then have a set of 18's for fun days. Anyway, R32 GT-R wheels do clear the GTT calipers ( not by much ) but many other 16's won't. And in case you were wondering, no, I didn't get any pics with the R32 GT-R wheels fitted sorry
  11. Its a good jack but just keep an eye on the castor wheel bearings ( and hold on to the receipt ). Have seen 2 bearing failures with this jack. Maybe ( hopefully ) this is a newer/better version than the ones I've seen.
  12. PM sent
  13. Form and cheque posted. Rumour has it there'll be an old skool PS2 GT battle or 2 going on ( DUI version ?? ). Better go practice now.
  14. I "think" the R34 ones are different to the R33 ones. Take a pic of the R33 one and post it up & I'll tell ya.
  15. As per the title, I want a Series 1 R34 GTT gearknob in "top" condition. Let me know what you've got.
  16. 100% agree with never working under a car without stands. When the jack started to give way, I had 1 stand under the chassis rail and I was just going around the other side to put the second one under. Because the jack failed pretty quickly, the chassis rail and floor pan were damaged and I SHIT myself. Up side was that it was a RR Silver Spur and not my fault . Anyway, I agree that 100mm aint that low. Would like something like ( either one ) or but it has be be "safe" ( and a reasonable price ). If this or any jack can't comply with basic safety standards, I'm not sure if I'd want to trust my car & life to it.
  17. Subscribing ! My jack is leaking and CBF fixing it. This is the one I'm most sold on ATM from Gasweld @ $215.00 - 100mm at lowered position & 520mm raised. Did a Google search and a lot of reading and there are SO many jacks out there that are being recalled cause they don't meet Australian Standard/New Zealand AS/NZS 2615:1995 and have had proven failures. Had a jack fail on me as a 2nd year apprentice and it scared the crap outta me !
  18. I know RB-25-NA is taken in NSW cause my friend has it on her marone 33
  19. ** HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY SHELL ** <------( trying to be quiet in case the hangover fairies came to visit last night ) Hope you're not too today.
  20. Stuff you spray on the disc itself ? Thats a new one to me. Will be interested to see if the results last.
  21. Did you machine your discs before putting the pads in or at least rough them surface up with some course 50 or 90 sandpaper ? I put EBC greens in my car recently without doing anything to my discs because they are in great condition. Now, my breaks squeal a bit under light breaking until I get some heat into the discs, then it's all quiet. If they do start to squeal, I'll machine the discs. In my 32, I used to get brake squeal everywhere except the track with Winmax, NISMO, Ultimates and Endless SSS pads ( had machined discs or new discs each time also ) so......... I cleaned "everything" I could but still...........
  22. Easy done ! Right now all she needs is a steering wheel with the horn button ( so long as there's a working horn connected ). Poor kid
  23. Stopped by at Just Jap today with my daughter because she loves cars and car parts. While there, she took a huge shine to 1 car parked out the front By the time she's old enough to drive, I might just be able to afford one.
  24. Old post, I know but.... Where & Whats the best price for Philips Diamond Vision globes at the moment ? Looking to get H1's & HB3's. Cheers.
