That's the power steering cooling line / pipe. Follow the pipes back into the engine bay and you'll see that the connect to hoses ( with clamps ). Make sure the clamps are tight and in good working order. Then check the hoses them selves for any signs of leakage. To test the area for leaks, make sure your power steering fluid is at the correct level, then ( with the engine running ) get someone to operate the power steering from lock to lock while you hold a decent size piece of cardboard near the suspect area and look for any pressure spray / leakage ( don't use your hands because pressurised hydrualic fluid "could" wind up going through your skin & into your blood stream ). See how you go with that

A nice gesture/effort by the cops but lets be real........... The laws in Aus are pathetic and these scumbags will be back at it within 3 months ( tops ) unless the cops can tie them into something else like guns or drugs. So long as Australia has these "smack on the hand" laws, the crims will just keep going without fear. Been meaning to ask this for ages ! On my R32, there was a button to push which would give you the ambient ( outside ) temp. My R34 does not have a button, but I noticed that it does have a temp sensor behind the front bumper ( I guess for the climate control ) so I'm wondering if there is some way the outside temp can be displayed through the climate control ? Thanks in advance. ( I really miss this feature ! )
