Bumpety. -
Time for this little rocket to go to a new home. Great little run-about my G/F has owned for the last couple of years. Since we've had it I've done the following: - all the brakes ( wheel cylinders etc ) - replaced the rear swing arm bushes ( nolathane ) - replaced the radiator - new tyre - new exhaust and some other stuff Since the things listed above were done, this car has been extremely reliable ! Took it on a trip a while ago ( 4.5 hours each way ) and the car didn't miss a beat. Features: - Power Windows - Power Steering - Central Locking It has 170K km on the clock and has ~2 months rego left. SOLD

Hi all, I've decided to let these go cause they just don't suit "my" car. They are the Genuine NISMO ( NISMO Part Number 74902-RNR45 ) and were purchased through performancewise ( a trader on this forum ) for $350. They are made to suit R34 GT-R but will also fit R33 GT-R and all other R34's very well. The mats were in my car for a matter of days and are still in immaculate condition. Driver's side mat has location/locking hole so mat won't creep forward and all mats have an excellent style of cross spiked backing so they don't move around at all. The corner's of the mats are double stitched so the corner's don't bend/roll up. Here's the mats straight out of the bag ( Nismo tags look blue because of protective tape ) Driver's side Passenger side Rear SOLD Might post if I don't get a local buyer but collection is 1st preference.

HAPPY B/DAY NICK !! May you never suffer from a blocked injector ( or your car ).

Cat Back Exhaust System For R34 Sedan
TokyoTaxi replied to MyR3408's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I'll get onto it soon but yeah, the sound is like nothing else I've ever heard. And the strange thing is that the sound changes depending on the exhaust temperature. From cold, to cool operating temp, to heat soaked, to really hot, it sounds a bit different at each stage. Even still, I like it -

EDIT. Keep in mind when you're listening to it that the car's in the garage so it sounds a bit louder than on the street. I had some tunes playing at the time at a pretty low vol so that should give some perspective. Here's the file reduced ( to 400KB ) Exhaust_Sample.wmv -
Cat Back Exhaust System For R34 Sedan
TokyoTaxi replied to MyR3408's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I haven't forgotten the sound file but just not got the chance yet. Will do it soon ( will only be a stationary rev & idle for now tho ). I'm going out on a limb here but, and I'm going to say that this system is too quiet for you guys. At it's best it sounds like an stock M3. It's great for stealth but if you wanna get some looks the sound ain't gonna do it for you. For you guys who want some noise, you should prol wait until Kakimoto release the "Regu" for the N/A 4 doors ( ask Steve @ Just Jap when these will be available ). Oh and there's one downside to Stainless Steel systems, the retain heaps more heat than mild steel. Went under the car for 2 secs the other day to check all was OK. Reached up to give the rubber hanger's a wiggle and arm touched rear muffler. Instant **SIZZLE** -
Firstly, there's someone in front in the cue ( via PM ) so he get's first crack. Now, yeah, no worries but I only ever send things "Registered Post" so cost would be like $15 within Aus. Will update original post to show postage.

If there's anyone who still has a video player, here's a few for your collection. SOLD

Why A Naturally-aspirated Skyline?
TokyoTaxi replied to EVILTD's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
I don't think the question is that stupid. Look at the range on answers ! For me, after owning turbo Skyline's for the last 10+ years, I decided that I don't need 200rwkw to get from one set of traffic lights to the next ( or from one speed camera to the next ) Plus, think about all the things you don't need to spend $'s on if you own an N/A: Boost Controller, Boost Gauge, FMIC, Oil Cooler, Turbo Timer, BOV, etc, etc. The only time I miss the turbo is when I need to pass someone "quick". Other than that, I'm getting used to the whole N/A lifestyle -
Cat Back Exhaust System For R34 Sedan
TokyoTaxi replied to MyR3408's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Well the main pipe is a fair bit longer than the GT-R & GTt ones, but I can't imagine it would be a "major" issue. Oh well, I guess they've got their reasons. -
Cat Back Exhaust System For R34 Sedan
TokyoTaxi replied to MyR3408's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Now I've put a couple of km's on the car the exhaust note has changed quite a bit ! I don't actually know how to describe it. Reggi, you might want to hold off until I can get a sound file for you. With that said, I'm in love with the sound ! , but it may not be loud enough for those that want more attention. Seat of the pants, well I never expected a miracle so I'm not dissappionted. You know there's a smidge more power & torque there, but it's not enough to change your heart beat. What you "can" instantly feel is the engine's ability to breathe !! Hard to explain but you know you've done a good thing removing the restrictive system -

Everything lined up very well although it's slightly different from the original. It all seemed kinda loose and not 100% right ( alignment wise ) until you tighten the bolts up. Then it all falls into place Part No.: Fujitsubo Legalis R product #770-15086 -
Cat Back Exhaust System For R34 Sedan
TokyoTaxi replied to MyR3408's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Nah Eug, with the stocky on it made a slight tinny noise when cold but when it warmed up it made no noise at all ! ( except maybe some hissing ) but in car, NONE ! Now you can actually hear the crisp RB sound but it's still not over the top. In car just sounds sex ! -

Well here's a few more pics to wet your appetite Reggi. Yeah, this would compliment your extractors nicely. The outside of the rear muffler The specs are actually dust. The outer finish is spotless. Here's an example of the pipe diameter and mount support bracing There's still ~5mm each side of the beer. a good example of the weld quality and finish and the extent of the internal finishing and then there's the little hardware kit they give you I was going to bolt it up this arvo but the beer accidently opened. Then I accidently open another one and now I'm thinking I'll start tomorrow morning BTW, I'd be interested to hear how things go with nengun !
