Not true in all cases, just most. But I agree, it is far better to spend more upfront and get one with mods and allow $6k or so for a rebuild just in case. A 32 GT-R can be just as much fun sideways as a GTS-T if you pull the fuse or put in a simple toggle switch to disable the 4WD too.

I unfortunately had a bad experience with Chapmans.... I found their service to be relatively friendly but the lack of attention to detail almost cost me an engine, no exaggeration. I fixed what was missed myself in literally 20 seconds. Also some spare parts I had in the car were either kept or thrown out which was a bit annoying. Out of all the places I have been too so far I only go back to Elite Racing, his attention to detail is incredible, he spotted problems that Chapmans and Mercury missed and that was before I even popped the bonnet. I have witnessed Dan drive out free of charge to help his customers when they have encountered a breakdown (not releated to any work he performed). What other mechanics do that for you? Nicest guy too.... Having said all this, I will have to give the newest sponsor Hardcore a go sometime soon, from all accounts they are a good outfit with the new management.

Hello Zeb, I don't know of any Skyline specific meet happening this weekend, but you will be sure to run into a few at the Spit on the Gold Coast on Sunday. I hope you enjoy your stay in Brissy.

I have been told you can bore out a RB20 safely to quite a huge degree, I am sure someone on this board will know for sure and just how much. It would be a cheaper and easier alternative to an RB25 which is really what is needed for torque reasons. And it of course saves you the obvious hassles of locating a used RB25 for the right money and then trying to smash it in.

She sounds like a keeper Cam. If your keen on doing some leg work and running around you could get a cheap 32 GTS-T with engine damage and do the RB25 conversion and keep in within budget. Will take a bit of effort initially but would be an awesome choice for the next 4 to 5 years. What ever your choice I hope it goes smoothly for you and I hope to see you out and about sometime soon.

Do you still have the SMS? If the contents of an SMS are deemed to be vulgar by use of swearing or threatening then the crime is very serious, it falls under criminal law due to it being a missuse of a telecommunications device and the penalties can be quite severe. I recommend taking your phone with the SMS still on it to a Police station and let them pursue it. Even if it is a teenager they should get a scare and a good behaviour bond.
