  1. Hi NM35 Nissan Stagea owners, I’ve had my 2002 NM35 Nissan Stagea since May 2014 (was very close to purchasing a Legnum VR4 instead but after looking at Scotty’s car and a few others on the forum, I decided on the Stagea). To date, I have enjoyed the car for what it is (ie. a family based car). I like the styling, particular with the Axis Autech body styling that is on my car. The space is great and having the versatility of the wagon is what I always wanted. The gearbox though a bit slow in feel isn’t too bad and the shifts are acceptable for a car that has 12 year old technology. I do like the 4WD system and it has proven very useful in damp/wet conditions. The steering feel is a bit wooden but the handling is pretty good for a large car (the coilovers do help here). Now to the main reason for this post. The performance and by that I mean engine power/torque. On paper, a 2.5litre V6 turbo does sound promising. However, the performance I would say is more towards useable/solid/torquey. I certainly wouldn’t be wanting to get all cocky at a traffic light if there was a V8 powered car, a turbocharged EVO/WRX, the latest craze with hot hatches (3 MPS, Megane RS265, Golf Gti/R32/R, Opel VXR) or some turbocharged import (Skyline/Supra etc). To date, I have the following modifications: - Trust Panel Filter - Turbosmart Kompact BoV - Scott’s custom dump and front pipes - Brake Wire Cut Mod - Tanabe Sustec NF Coilovers (was already on car when I bought it) It is also my intent to upgrade the intercooler and cat-back exhaust system. However, I feel these modifications are not going to do that much more apart for better intake temperature consistency and improved exhaust flow. So, taking the above into consideration, will a Greddy EManage Ultimate install and dyno tune change my current experiences and impressions of my car’s performance? I am keen to hear from those current NM35 Stag owners who also have the OEM turbo. It is my intent to keep the standard turbo. Some dyno charts you can share and just honest impressions of where your car’s performance is at. I said this to Scott recently “it’s like I am driving a turbo diesel...it’s got good torque in the low to mid rev range but it runs out of puff in the mid to upper rev ranges...it’s like someone ended a party early and only when the party was just about to get better”
  2. Hi all, I am wanting to buy a cat-back exhaust for my NM35 Stagea. Preference is for Blitz NUR Touring Spec but open to Kakimoto, Apexi, Fujitsubo etc. Open to second hand Thanks
  3. Hi wht510. I recently just changed my bulbs on my NM35 Stagea to 6000K D2S (retained the OEM Ballast). I got them from Max Vision Australia.
  4. Was driving my NM35 Stagea on Friday night (about 10pmish) along Princes Highway (towards Springvale direction; for those who live in Victoria/Melbourne you know where I am talking about). Drove past a Highway Patrol cop car; he followed me for a while and he simply took off at the next set of lights...then literally 15 secs later, blue lights and high beam flashing behind me; cop pulls me over from behind (in his VF Commodore SS). Runs to my side...does a breath test...ask question "can i have your license, state your name and address...where are you going?...you're not cruising around racing are you?..." Slightly off topic here; do you guys get randomly pulled over in your M35 Stageas? Spoke to a friend who drives an import and he said two things which may have explained why I spefically got pulled over: - driving along Princes Highway at night where it is very common for street racing/traffic light drags to occur - though the M35 Stageas look understated, they are starting to build a bad reputation by cops who specifically target imports
  5. What time? I was there in my NM35 Stagea today in Dandenong; parked on Thomas St. I think it was around 1pm.
  6. Spotted a black (or at least a dark coloured one) M35 Stagea on Wellington Road heading towards Rowville at around 10.30pm last night
  7. I wonder what Scott's car, in his current state of tune, does?
  8. I am also interested in the F&R swaybars and "Daleo's" front underbody brace.
  9. When I push the gear lever to the left to go into Tiptronic mode, it always displays Gear 4 on the dashboard. I don't have an issue in changing the gears but any reason why the gear is always 4 to begin with? Is this a default?

  15. Hubcentric Wheel Spacers PCD - 5x114.3 Package includes a pair of 25mm and a pair of 30mm wheel spacers. The wheel spacers were previously fitted to a Nissan Skyline R32 GTR. I have since fitted the spacers to my Nissan 350Z but only used it for less than 3 months. When used, it really gave it a 'Phat' look. It really filled out the guards very nicely. Very good condition, made of quality materials and can easily be cleaned up with appropriate cleaning products or sprayed to suit your own colour taste. These 'hubcentric' wheel spacers are the sensible way to fill out the guards and bring out the wheels. Many wheel spacers are the 'plate' types and require longer studs. They often compromise on vehicle safety and place stress on the studs and hub related components. Serious buyers to make arrangements with seller to come and inspect the product. You are welcome to even have a 'test fit' of the wheel spacer on your own vehicle to see how wide your wheel will sit out. If this is the case, you are to bring your own car jack and appropriate tool to remove your wheels. It is best advised that you do some research on whether your car can accept wheel spacers, particularly on factory vehicles (without widebody modifications) to avoid the wheel rubbing issues. Asking Price: $170.00 ONO (any reasonable offer will be considered) For quick response, please email me at bernie_hii#hotmail.com (replace # with @). Cheers, Z33Fairlady
