  1. thats proberly a good point, proberly dont see the purpose of havn one on a stock turbo. but why would u buy a 3" turbo back exhaust, when u know ur gonna be upgrading the turbo later on, adding a ext wastegate? why not just get the screamer save urself 600 bux in the long run wen u have to change that turbo back for a screamer. at least thats wat i did
  2. mate ive been running my screamer on my car for over 2 years now, not a single issue. all this talk about 800 degree flames shootn out. ive been told that yes my car does have small embers shootn out the side and back of my car, thats because the screamer pipe sits low enough to do shit all damage. it be pretty stupid if the pipe stopped halfway in the engine bay. the pipe clearly sits under the car. it dosnt leak on idle, another stupid design flaw if ur havn that problem. ive now learnt that yes it might not make as much power but it should definitely make JUST AS MUCH as a 3" turbo back. it defiantly should have the advantage with holding boost. so wats the downside performance wise? shit f*kn all. u c**ts always bag ricers n shit for havn shit that dosnt make the car go fast, now ur hanging shit on crap that does but is a lil to loud. give it a rest
  3. thanks for asking man, it is actually, but nothing has been put into the car yet, still buying parts here and there. should be going in for the transformation when the bottom end is done. atm im doing a wide body project aswell...so been buusy lol
  4. oh yeh i know what u mean, i opted for 3 in the begining, just replacing the stockers, but im getting the other 2 at a discount, and my mates not using his a pillar...so meh day to day driving i rarely even make boost, but ive got it set at 16psi (1.2bar???) but i only hit that on the "odd occasion". thanks for pointing out the sensor thing, i was certain defi would supply em, its just a matter of linking em up. will have to give this more thought then, thanks if anyone can confirm if sensors come with the gaudges that be great
  5. dude, if u wanna pay for that something that "actually needs upgrading" go for it. if not is it okai with you if i buy what i want with my moneY?
  6. i think stock guages are pos when it comes to readings, and running more then 1bar its just not of use. what about oil temp, fuel pess, water temp and exhaust temp??? hahhahha kms to maccas watta crack up. volume of dose would be a good one aswell
  7. im not a expert but could someone explain why oil pressure would be more importent then......lets say for arguments sake manifold press? just to get a better understanding of what my setup on my type of driving could be suited for
  8. be sure to post pics when its done man!!! they been going for around the $215 mark but ive seen some for $250. how much did this brissey guy give em to ya 4
  9. you know me, id get em if i could do we have any SAU traders that sell defi guages? would like to compare prices
  10. have u got any pics mate? would love to see em!!!! wat colours did u get? me personally am going for the red set
  11. unfortunately defi only have the following guages.
  12. i made the mistake of buying globes, replacing wires, and even getting new headlights alltogether only to realise i didnt check if the fuse was blown lol....so make sure u check ur fuse's 1st
  13. still got the power fc in the r34 and yes its done wonders for the stage im at, sooner then later the cars going in for a rebuild most likey a 3.0l hybrid conversion ect ect. was wondering what ur thoughts were with ECU management? would u guys keep the PFC? or change it to maybe a higher end one? also is it possible to get some sort of ECU that does not need the use of a AFM?
  14. everyone knows how horrid the r34 gtt stock gauges are so im about to replace them with a set of defi gauges. if i purchased another 2 i would get a good deal. so the question is, what 5 gauges should i get? i understand that boost, water pressure, oil pressure, exhaust temp, manifold pressure are popular ones. basically what 5 gauges would u set up in your car if u had the chance
  15. interesting, well i guess the real question is, how flowing is your exhaust. and if not enough, how much would a screamer would a screamer do. ive got a full 3" turbo back exhaust so ill (if i have time) do a trial on exactly what the screamer does and get some dyno graphs when i replaced my screamer to clear a defect with a dump pipe from batmbl, i felt after 5000rpm the exhaust just couldn't push any more out. im proberly wrong but when i had the screamer, the sound of it at as the gate opened more and more just convinced me im going faster LOL. i kow it sounds stupid but im sure some of u understand wat im trying to say
  16. hahahha sall good. yeh i guess ill have to get back to u guys when i get some more spersifics. wat do u guys think about flame throwers?
  17. so ur saying a almost instant free flowing wastegate will produce no advantages? i get this by basicly comparing it to a 1inch pipe that ports back into the exhaust. there defiently would be restrictions there??? i woulda thought it would at least defiantly hold boost better. again correct me if im wrong.....
  18. correct me if im wrong but dont screamer pipes spool quicker and hold boost better
  19. i properly made one will NOT leak. i got a few contacts if u want. if ur in the SE subs i could even show u. pm me if u want some info
  20. that be awsome man, pm me or just post away i know all u guys think it sounds stupid but its gonna be insane.
  21. i think theres a mis understanding. and proberly my fault its 170mm from the top of the guard, not the wheel arch.
  22. im most likey to get a actual wider body instead of rolling guards. i couldnt possibly roll my guards 170mm each side. and yes nismo its 170mm each side, its a pretty massive kit im getting. unfortunately i dont have any pics but expect something insane. but here are my measurements for my wheels atm 18x8 offset is unknown ....im assuming +35 or something around there. is there anyway of finding out exactly? ive got pretty much no gap between my wheels and my guards. its around 2-3mm if that. its not final but the bodykit will increase guards width by around 160-170mm "each" side. massive kit i guess what i really need to do is find out exactly how big my guards will pump out then work on wheel offset.
  23. maybe i just heard wrong, ill give the guy a call to confirm it later lol
  24. well atm my rims are 18x8. the wide bodykit extends the car by 170mm so yeh....
  25. i got quoted 2k from C Red.....something dosnt sound right here
