  1. lately ive been going back and forth about whether to continue doing this car and making a name out of it, or to save the money and buy a r34gtr. the plan at the start was to initially do a hybrid rb25/30 rebuild with a 600hp Garrett GT30BB turbo. but after thinking about it so much i felt that it was a waste putting that much power into a rwd car, the turbo can pull as much as 400rwkw as im told. so its not a small figure. im also aware that the right combo of tyres and driver skill can easily beat a awd car. but down to the guts of it, owning a gtr vs a animal gtt which would u guys go for? i know there are many cars on here with 300+rwkw on their GTST and was wondering how they felt about it, and has upgrading to a GTR ever crossed their mind.

  8. have u got proof backing up all those claims???? cops WILL defect you regardless of stock bov if they wanted to, when i had a atmo bov i did not have problems stalling, or shooting flames, or being defected. if ur gonna be a dickhead shooting your BOV every gear down every street passing every person, expect to get it. but if ur smart about it (not making the bov crome so it stands out in the engine baY) and driving normally. its fine

  11. 6000k is not white, and is actually illegal. 4300k is white 6000k is blue tinge 8000k is more blue 10000k starts to go purple. unfortunately 4300k is the only legal color due to vic roads requireing all froward facing lights to be white (excludes indicators) each company is diff like the other guy said so yeh....... ive got the 8000k ones and look insane, but visibility wise, i would go for the 4300k

  13. damn it sounds like ur real serious about pumping as much out of that NA as possible. have you ever thought of getting a turbO? not that theres anything wrong with ur NA, but the benefits would be alot more!!! like i said though its a hot looking car.
  14. cry me a river man, how bout some productive criticism instead of sooking cuz someone hurt ur feelings so ur telling me there is no advantage wat so ever in having a atmo bov? agree with you partly, BOVs aint a personal taste but the noise is, and unfortunately more ppl get it for the noise then the performance. and yes ur right, ppl who are driving there cars on the road should proberly just stick with a plumb back, because there is no need for a atmo bov. but i could say the same about exhausts. why bother fitting a larger exhaust if your only using it on the street. simple...........wank factor i guess the point im trying to make here is dont diss other peoples personal tastes. some ppl do like loud exhausts, and bov sounds. and some like the performance they give (and dont say there isnt any gain in using a atmo bov cuz there is) its there car and their life. i find it absolutely shockn you guys are bad mouthing ppls tastes in cars. i could look at any of you for a second and say ur a total top bloke because of a,b or c but i dont...because i repect your decision.

  16. atmo bov are just as good as stock ones or plumb backs. just as its the same as cars with no BOV. stop dissn others personal tastes. if u wanna get that picky i can start shootn off about other shit. why do u tint ur windows. why did u change ur rims why do ppl change their airbox to a pod. we do these things cuz we like em.....simple as that

  19. just get a oil breather man.....plug it up with that....and find someone who can modify ur intake, then go to autobarn and buy a long rubber hose....lead it in...bloody easy man. it woudl seriously cost u like 25 bux. a nice steak at la pochetta but theres always next week. fark does anyone else love their steak? mushroom sauce baby...droolz
  20. i recently just put back on my stock BOV....and its fine i guess but i still like the wank factor a atmo one gives. and everyone knows it here majority of us like it that way. to be honest the every day street car will not benefit shit all from a atmo or a stock bov, but u gotta ask yourself is it causing more trouble then good. with cops these days its a real pain to be constantly defected and requiring a RWC. me personally have learnt the hard way so im stickn with the stock bov for a while, its diffrent....so im happi
  21. was in the same situation, made my own intake pipe but forgot about the oil hole. bought a oil breather(which is illegal) until i could drill a hole into the intake pipe. wat ever u do dont leave it unplugged, u dont want oil drippn onto places that are hot....trust me lol
  22. recently had to take off the whole exhaust system and replace back to stock to clear a defect. while i was at this i noticed the top of the front/dump pipe which clamps onto the manifold was 25mm smaller in diameter to the actual manifold mouth. ive got straight 3" all the way and thought wat a waste if im only lettn in X amount. so i had the thing machined out to be larger. ever since thats happened the car sounds like its got a exhaust leak when i put my foot down. turbo spool is alot louder, car feels way more responsive, but sounds like a rusted old holden, which really puts me off. bringing the car back to the shop tm morning but would like to hear anyones thoughts?
