I know a few guys who have done mid 20's in street tyres in SAU NSW get some better tyres like the 595rs' and the rt615's and you could see some dipping lower I think my best is between 1:25 and 1:30 on street tyres

Lingeringsoul - a NSW member has bought a rooted RB25DE for cheap and is taking it apart and building it back - good learning right there! I'd start with that first!
