  6. mark, id say 200 rwkw and up. 200 can see skylines in the 13's and well set up, low 13's about the same as a bolt on modded ls1 (say vt - vx) and now these days you'll need more as even cammed LS1s are getting around the 250 - 300rwkw (SAU NSW Dyno day just gone, Josh got 301.?rwkw in his cammed and tuned VX SS) when he had 230rwkw he did a 13.1 @108 - 110?

Ben - yeah mate bring the semi's you'll be right Michele - w0000000t go for the formula!! that will be awesome to watch!! James - cool mate what seat? You'll be really surprised how much it holds you in! With my standard seat I was fighting myself from sliding in the seat round corners, which makes me lose concentration on the actuall corner! my bucket seat helps a shitload!
  18. Wayne - yeah mate turn up and have some fun. while you cannot have passengers (i.e. some track days allow you to have instructors which is the best help and advice you'll ever get!!) you can still get a feel for your car at speed. just remember, warm up, cool down. do not go hard right away. build up to speed and level of confidence drive to conditions. watch out for other cars, if there are faster than you, dont stress and let them pass at safest point (straights) and have some fun!!!!!! I wish I could make the 23rd
  19. Nah you are right there Dave, I totally agree. To be honest - the guy before the crash was going hard, I'd say 10 tenths. He was over taking people underbrakes in the wet, whereever possible. Even when there was the big drivers breifing to not drive hard out there. He simply didnt listen. And yes, as an SAU VIC member once said, "even Stevie Wonder can drive an EVO quick" A challenging RWD FTW!!!
  20. Oh Ben its ooooooooooonnnnnn!!! In the wet, and EVO went into the wall on pit straight - ouch
  21. Daniel, for helmets, get into the NSW Members section and check out the sponsers. Theres a thread with Sydney City Motorcycles and we have a group buy/discount there (just need members card)
