  1. lol... Ah well, if 90% of people get away with it, I don't feel too bad taking my chances.
  2. 'patche' was a member, but he's only here to sell his car I believe. (wants $10k!). "ITURNER" aka Dave was here, but he since sold his nice looking 33 and only has his 34 left. Which is also for sale. The only other member I can think of is NUTR33, but to be honest I am not sure if he is even still around in Shepparton. As far as I am aware there aren't any (that I have seen) SAU Skyline owners in Shepparton. Members that is.
  3. 'Cars Weekly' by any chance?
  4. It was just an idea, obviously doesn't work, no need to keep telling me
  5. Yeah that's true... I guess if your pulled over for a breath test, there's less chance of them wanting to go over your car than if your seen giving it a squirt at the lights. Common sense really. I think my area the cops mainly target V8's. There are a few P plate skyline owners, but yeah. None have been done that I know anyways. If they ever do it's just defected for other things. EDIT - As for the 32, I would consider a GTR... but they're just further over than the 33 GTST's
  6. You're probably one of the first P plater skyline drivers I have heard of who hasn't been pulled over. Hopefully they don't get you either.
  7. lol... Relax, it was just an idea that came to mind. You said it's not possible/etc. I believe you. I probably wouldn't have tried even if there was a high chance of it been possible. As I said, I'll just take my chances. A lot of others seem to get away with it, so hopefully I can too.
  8. It's a good point... If the sticker said it's a GTS, then they surely couldn't fine me for driving a GTST? (Even if it is, how would they be 100% sure). Who knows. Some cops are assholes I guess. EDIT - Yeah, I'll just take my chances. See millions of skylines with P plates up, hopefully I can just fit into the crowd...
  9. That's true... Oh well, looks like I'll leave the car registered in my old mans name and use the "Nah just filling it up with fuel for him " Too bad if I get pulled over twice eh.
  10. Well if the car's registration actually says that it is 1600KG, and the S2 Skyline on stock specs makes it possible for a P plater to drive, doesn't that mean the car perfectly legal? Just because GTST's aren't legal, doesn't mean that all variations are illegal too. I think if your rego sticker stated the weight of the car was fine for the power to weight ratio, the coppers would feel a little un easy giving you a fine.
  11. But it would help with the argument that the car is 'legal', especially if the officer isn't 100% certain. Would help even more if you had a GTS rego sticker, just say "errmm no, my car is a GTS not a GTST" You have an S2 don't you? Able to quickly check?
  12. Well from my experience they check the rego sticker for car information? Also - can anyone else confirm that rego stickers for S2 skylines are 1600KG? (I presume they are all the same?).
  13. Is it hard to get away with some how fooling vic roads into believing you have a GTS not a GTST?
  14. What about for people who are already on their P plates before these new laws come in? Do the turbo blankets still stand? I reckon about one in three R33 turbo's I see are on P plates, so obviously the police don't take TOO much notice.
  15. What about VL turbo's? Are they illegal to drive? I dare say most coppers don't really take much notice/know. Where I am anyways. There are millions of P platers driving around R33 GTST's. I have seen plenty in Melbourne also. Probably be a bit of bad luck to actually get done for it. If you have any stories, please post them

  17. It is local, Musa owns it... it was white before about 2 weeks ago. Only had 18"s on it too, not 20's.
  18. What's the reason for selling? Also - do you have the stock steering wheel?

    Remote Start

Anyone know a place to get a remote start and get it installed? Any reccommendations for one? Preferably someone who knows what they are doing so they can set it up so that the alarm/immobiliser doesn't turn the engine off when doors are opened etc. Thanks.
