  1. Does S3 front lip fit on an S1 R33 GTR? Hey guys, As mentioned in the thread title, does anyone happen to know if the s3 (or even an s2) front lip (the black thing under the front bar) fits straight onto an S1? I know the lip is a bit bigger, but I assume it all lines up to bolt straight on? Any help much appreciated Cheers
  2. Agreed I had this with mine, was oil pump.
  3. Dam it... Think the cop who pulled me over today is gonna get me a nice EPA notice in the mail in a week or two

Where'd you get the stronger spring?
  5. Damn... once I get my GTR back I'll have to start attending these DECA events. Considering I live in Shepparton...
  6. Most "decat" pipes I've seen still have the oval shape etc, just nothing in it. So as far as a cop knows there's a cat there and they must assume it's a cat (bit hard to assume it's a cat cover with straight through pipe?). I am assuming you don't even have the oval shaped housing?
  7. I had the same problem about a month ago, one of the bolts was a little loose at the top of the strut tower that goes onto the coil over... Get it checked though.
  8. lol yes... real cars have no power steering either Am interested to see the specs etc. when you get them.
  9. Depending on price etc, I may be interested.
  10. Not to mention you can get them from Justjap (a known reliable business) for cheaper...
  11. Hey guys, I have a 95' GTR V-Spec, and ever since I've had it it's had no rear wiper, which I find more aesthetically pleasing than the ones I see with them. However, I've never actually seen another one that doesn't have one? I know the N1's came without a rear wiper, just wondering if it was some kind of option/feature? Or probably after market? Cheers.
  12. How much are you looking to spend? I have Te37's in bronze, 18x9.5 +12...
  13. I got an Ogura twin plate in my GTR. It's very bitey and I can almost guarantee that anyone jumping into the car will stall it. It's very bitey however I've grown to love it and I can drive it anywhere without stalling/take off at lights etc. all fine. You get used to it eventually, it's got a tiny bit of slip but it's not easy to use for a first timer. No matter the clutch you'll probably get used to it... And who doesn't love the rattle of a twin plate Take it you've still got a standard gearset... I dunno how harsh the Nismo clutches are but my clutch if dumped hard enough feels like it will smash a standard set into the back seat lol. It's something to bear in mind, if you're clutch is harsh won't be long until the gearset needs replacing either. EDIT: It's also interesting once you've adjusted to a twin plate getting behind the wheel of something with a regular clutch.
  14. Keep us all informed anyway it'll be interesting if there's any engineers out there (surely there's one?) who would sign off on it. Maybe with a cash adjustment their way too
  15. So what were the issues besides intercooler piping? only that?
  16. When I was deciding between the two I went for a spin in a GTR with -5's and one with -7's, the -7's were an entirely different driving experience. But each to their own. Also - as for the injectors, I am running 700cc injectors which get to about 75% duty cycle full throttle.
  17. Though usually more... 500rpm can be a long time waiting off boost... Oh well good luck with the build let us know how it goes.
  18. I am running -7s. I have 320AWKW. I have 20PSI by about 3,500-4,000RPM. What's the point of having 320AWKW but waiting until 4,500+ for full boost? They are similar to stock turbo's for response, but handle a lot higher levels of boost. Don't bother with the -5's unless you want lag . Internet experts? How is that guy more qualified than any of us? Because he writes in a magazine? Think, SAU is full of real world people with these cars and these turbo set ups. People actually using them. If you got -5's you'll regret it.
  19. 95' GTR V-SPEC Apexi Power FC & Commander 3.5" Exhaust (straight through) front pipe etc. Split Dump Pipes Bosch 044 Fuel pump Stainless exhaust manifolds Pod filter HSD HR Coilovers Blitz 700cc Injectors Head Gasket & Studs replaced Greddy profec-b booost controller Ogura Twin Plate clutch Hicas lockout bar Trust cam gears Garret 2680-7 Turbos 320KW @ 20PSI One of the oil returns from the turbo is rooted though so my fun is temporarily at an end . Next on the list is complete rebuild & stroke. Try push the -7's to their limits... Car was tuned for torque. If you're up it enough in 1/2 it starts to lose traction when boost comes on (well you feel it wobble around a bit). 265 tires too. Til' next time!
  20. Rob @ CREATD here, so far so good. Impressed with all work.
  21. My GTR is currently in the shop... has been for 2 weeks now. Probably another 2 weeks too... it's killing me really. I hate seeing other skylines around. Saw a nice tuned up 32 GTR the other day envied it like hell. Oh well, it's coming back over 300kw so hopefully that keeps me entertained for a while
  22. Get the skyline checked out by a decent mechanic to see if there's any issues. Buying a skyline with 0 maintenance budget is a little risky, but quite often they are 100% reliable for years only requiring an oil change.
  23. True, for 10K you could build a pretty decent engine (nothing insane) and it would level the price of a normal 32 GTR and probably be healthier. Depending on what the problems are exactly...
  24. So many Skylines been stolen lately... I honestly wouldn't be surprised if some of the parts are for sale in the "for sale" sections on this site either. Scum. What alarm was fitted?
