I half expected it to fall. I needed 3 arms so something had to balance but it slipped and got me. Nearly done, fire is installed but need to fit the last length of flue and seal up the gland on the roof

this fireplace would wanna throw out some serious heat after 4 days of f*cking around trying to improve it. even just simple tasks are hard when your jammed in the chimney and can barely move around.... plus just copped a falling piece of flue in the head...so ive well and truly had enough

i think cos they are mounted in a group and they are quite close to the cab compared to most large cat engines which have them in each corner.
