  1. There was a thread on this not long ago, its possible to do yourself. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...headlight+clean Seal them up with silicon as well if they're leaking
  2. Terminal blocks work fine for me, if you are just connecting two wires together to make one. Anytime I have to splice a wire I just cut away the plastic, wrap the new wire around the old and solder together, and treat with electrical tape. Easier to take the new wire off if need be, and takes up less space
  3. Try this link http://www.overflow.250x.com Has a pretty good guide to diagnostics
  4. I used a weather seal foam with an adhesive side on the bits that rattled, was mostly the plastic lining stuff. I cant hear it inside, and cant say I listen to my car stereo when Im not in it, so it might work too.
  5. Hey All just a quick word of caution, check how much you are drawing from the battery before you make this mod permanent. The alternator isnt designed to run 4 headlamps at best, and if you factor in amps, ECUs and anything else you may be running, it could lead to a very flat battery very quickly. My 2c
  6. Was a big problem R33 until I had to replace the R33 mirror with a pulsar mirror. Still vibrates in high revs or really rough roads but not cruising anymore
  7. Only mod i can think of for $10 or less is to drive down steep hills Not that its really a mod, but you go faster
  8. Good point Maybe less right foot round corners
  9. Hi There Since everyone is being so nice to newbies today... Do all R33 have HICAS & LSD, or is it just HICAS? Im trying to figure out why my car is so very backendhappy
  10. If you can afford it, put it under your name. Riding along under mum &/or dad normally means you have a very small or no "no claim bonus" when you do put it under your name. Had this argument with my older brother and his astra still costs him $1800k a year and my bill is under $1100 for the same value car.
  11. Recently bought an r33 and have done much that Doors not too much of a drama to take off, have 3 or 4 screws around the base, a small screw in the armrest handle well covered (normally) by a cap that flicks out, and the handle cover itself (flick out, slide toward the back of the door) Then comes the fun part of easing the panel off. Helps if you pull out the armrest handle inset (the little cuppy thing) but its not entirely easy to do (or im doing it wrong) The armrest controls have a cable that clips in/out, unclip it and you're done. Ive mounted in Sony 6"s with a tweeter up on the backplate to the side mirror. Once the door panel is off it just pops out. Had the best sound result for me, but play around with it once you have the main speaker in for best result. Everyone's head is in a different spot. Hope it helps
