Thanks Richard
I'm gonna sus it out a it more and decide weather I'm gonna repair mine or just out another second hand u it in
The leak seems to be getting worse and is coming from the steering shaft where it goes in the rack
Not fun
My outer tie rod end/hicas ball joints or whatever they called are shagged and have play
I've herd replacing just the ball joints are a pain as they are pressed in super tight
I noticed you can buy the tie rod ends complete with the ball joint, would that just be a matter of screwing it off the hicas rod and screwing the new one on? Or should I just leave the existing tie rod end and replace the ball joints?
Basiy after the easiest method of replacing the joints
if your going to all the hassle of building the engine, why not atleast do forged pistons with standard rods and billet pump gears etc for piece of mind?
just my 2c
shes looking real good mate keep the pics coming
Fellas,
Noticed lately that I have a power steering leak from the drivers side somewhere,
Had a snoop around this avo and found it's coming from where the steering wheel shaft goes into the rack,
Any solutions to fix this?
Is it a rack out job ?
Ok so I've read that there's afew knock offs when it comes to oem coilpacks
Where is the cheapest place to get a set of original Nissan rb26 coilpacks?
Mines tuned on caltex eflex, afew times I had to put united e85
Didn't notice any difference or knocking....tunes shouldn't be knife edge where 1 point difference in AFR's will granade your engine
