  1. yeah i would think belt too. check the tension on all of them
  2. ahhh ok ok, it could also be the coil pack wiring harness.
  3. when is the misfiring happening??? its common that misfire happens on either full boost or at high rpm and thats when the coilpacks are starting to show that they need replacing.
  4. plugs are new (gaped 0.8), well im going to see if new coil packs will make a difference, car has been misfiring on full boost or about 3500 4000rpm
  5. sounds like a jet!!! hehe
  6. http://justjap.com/store/product.php?produ...=332&page=3 is this the other thing you are talking about. i thought i will also let yous know when the car is running, when i try to adjust the idle screw the revs dont change. so could that link above have anything to do with that?
  7. i have unplugged that 2pin connector, no difference. i have even primed.
  8. running stock rb20det ecu
  9. a weird thing with the car, the fuel pump doesnt prime, it stays on. also i got a massive 4x4 battery in the car
  10. pretty much the same deal when i unplugged the tps. i got a custom forward facing plenum and i am running stock ecu, would this have anything to with anything?
  11. well cars are just weird, i changed the spark plugs over with new ones seems all good now. (old ones were black) btw im running powerfc do i need to retune since i got MINES afms?
  12. apexi pods.
  13. been a while but still having this prob, i let it turn for about 5 sec or so. the colder it is the harder to start even with the afm unplugged now.
  14. i got this weird prob with my 32 it seems to misfire when i rev it and idle is pretty rough when i have the filters fitted, took the filters off and it ran all smooth the filters are new and the afm i am running are MINES afms any ideas???
  15. the id of the pipe is 38mm so coke cap is way too small haha. i found that turbosmart have blanking plugs so i will prob just get them. i also found that my dimmer cap for my shift light fits nicely over the pipe. so i need to see were i can find another one of them and get the blanking plug LOCALLY insted of ording online and having to wait. to add a note, with the rb26 stock plumbing, with the turbos intake pipes, one its a hose that a pipe goes into and other is a pipe that a hose goes onto.
  16. my saber gauges have a peak/warning beep and flash red. they are pretty much like defi ones just so much cheaper
  17. cost me around 600 to get 5 gauges saber gauges are pretty good for they are for
  18. its not that hard to replace, if you can get easy access to your gearbox and under the engine should be easy. its just a fair bit of tight spaces thats all
  19. why am i saying noise, its more like music to my ears, love the rb sound
  20. she will get use to the noise, its prob not even that loud haha, wait till you hear my 180sx, rb20 no cat 3inch all the way then twin 2.5 inch tips. also do you know what exhaust system you have atm, like is it straight 3inch from cat or does it have a muffler also. and how loud we are talking about here if you can explain. but if you really have to. just do what bubba said to do, should cost a few hundred, depending if you have stainless or mild steel. not sure on what brand but i am sure the exhaust place should help you out. there is a cheaper way but it looks funny, is putting a silencer on the tip of the cannon (if you have one)
  21. hey peeps i got the factory intake piping for my turbos on my 26, they have those holes and pipes that they use the return for the bov, i am just wondering what can i use to block them off and where can i find them thanks Gordon
  22. the wire that has come from the ecu to fuel pump is now the trigger wire for the relay when you do this, which means if you did have an accident and the ecu wants to turn off the fuel pump it still can cause i will just trigger off the relay which will stop the connectivity from the battery to the fuel pump. so pump will be off.
  23. yeah its easy, and its in a pretty easly place to get to it in the engine bay. unlike my swift where the fuel filter is actually under the car at the back with the fuel tank
  24. dont know with you other guys that are running these filters, do yous have really loud induction noise and some flutter too. with my 180 i have this filter and sounds like the turbo is spooling up and its not even boosting, sounds cool tho.
  25. yeah i thought you could. can i get a couple of ya monga??
