  5. To me the head is the lid, so if you don't take the head off mate then it isn't opened. opened as i think , to get into the motor is to open it, removing/replacing cams are really on the outside of the motor. Unopened IMO.
  6. Hi Steve-o, mate i'll grab a filter relocation kit with a cooler and thermostat, you know what i want mate. Virtually everything i need to relocate filter then to cooler via thermostat then back to motor.

  11. Without boost controller, stock as a rock car?? if so its around 7-8 psi, if you want to know much boost is it capable of i wouldn't go over 13psi, i've read that the exhuast wheel, being made from ceramic , will denonate from anything over 13psi and up. S2 R33 you get what they call R&R rich and retard, at about 10psi basically the stock computer reads the extra boost as excessive air flow and doesn't understand whats going on so to protect the motor it richens the AF and retards the timing, but then again some people don't get it and run upto 12psi. If you have a PFC you won't get it.
  12. Umm there the same process, same h1 bulbs, can't see how they're any harder to the low beams.

  17. How the f**k do you get traction when dumping the clutch at 6000rpm, mines stock and if i did that i just wheelspin and bounce off the rev limiter. And no the tyres aren't shit, toyo proxes.
  18. Why would they be different, aren't they the same light only chrome inside instead of the black on the coupe??
  19. I constantly get 450 to 500km from a tank of fuel, stock other than turbo back exhaust. Alot depends on how you drive it, like any car really. Give it a boot full and yeah it will guzzle the go juice, but drive like a grandpa and you'll get more milage. I don't race on the street or drive at a million mile an hr, just going with the traffic and i usaully get 450km from a tank. i've got over 500 a couple of times but that was just seeing how much i could get without boosting it, drove sedately. But then again i've got less then 300kms out of a tank full at some trackdays!!!
  20. looks good nod, big job. post some pics of it finished.
  21. I'm a R33 lover but i can see where your coming from, stock for stock 32 is quicker, mod for mod wouldn't the 32 still be quicker then??? ohh and the 32 is only quicker in a straight line, not around a track and we all know thats what a GTR does best!!
  22. Mate what size you asking for?? i rang up and got mine same day, mine are 16's .
  23. Mate i own a 33 GTS-T, and all i got to say is most gts-t owners would have bought a GTR if they could afford one, some like the rear wheel action but majority would of went the GTR. Don't get me wrong i love my car but why would anyone want the little brother to GODZILLA!!! It all comes down to cost, nothing more. A lemon is a car that came from the factory as shit. All models with the GTR badge were never lemons, just some have aged better than others. My personal choice would be the R33 and once i have the money i would go get one. Jealousy... maybe some GTS-t owners are but is that them vs us thing and its all in the name of fun. There are some quick gtr's and gts-t's its all about how much money one has to spend on it. As said earlier if you look after it it will serve you well. Ohh and i also came from a commodore background, had a VY2 HSV clubby, even though it was quicker in a straight line the GTS-T handles and brakes so much better and with a few mods it will be quicker in everyway. Mate happy hunting.
