Ha here we go again, last time I asked about a new brand of turbo (kkr's) it started a shitfight so any opinions/input, saw an add for these in the trading post while leafing through the parts section and have also seen them on ebay, asked the seller a few questions,their bush bearing they had a couple of dyno charts didn't look like too bad response/power curve and they pointed me to the hypergear website but my translator on my pc is up the shit and don't speak or read jap

My mates have done it, one on a VL one on an r31 and gained alot of power for something that so far has cost them nothing, I warned them about the epa fine but has anyone actually ever witnessed this enforced? no one I know, but risk vs cost i'm going with a high flow cat mostly because im upgrading from 2.5" standard zaust to a greddy power extreme 3" stainless, but I cant see how a high flow 2.5" cat with the honeycomb interior even with the metal/ceramic inside could possibly flow better or give more power than a 2.5" cat with nothing inside, anyway if you really want to do it all you need is a screwdriver and a hammer pull of the cat, stick the driver inside and smash all the plastic honeycomb until its in bits small enough to shake out, my mates cars sound GOOOOD! to0!

  14. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...view=getnewpost These are the best front/dumps so I've been told and the catco metal cats flow better and Gr33dy on this forum has good prices on Hybrid GT spec coolers,Apexi PFC ecu's,bosch fuel pumps etc... www.nengun.com for injectors and z32 afm, CGC in nsw for high flow(rebuilding stock turbo) Im going with the turbosmart E boost 2 compact boost controller but Im considering the nengun HKS GTrs/PowerFC/Nismo Injector package looks like the price works out about the same as getting a high flow and pFC etc...

R33 GTS-25t Series 2 or 3 pref under 80,000k local or import? mods or stock? black, white, burgundy or silver? lol! just kidding www.allblitz.com.au I think thats it? check them out and Im sure theres more than a few importers on this forum but take my advice take your time man, I just WANTED!!!! a line bad and rushed into it and bought like the second one I looked at and had a few problems allready had the car just over 7 months! if I could go back I think Id probably try and find one that looked good with a f***ed engine and buy the rb26/30 thats being sold and dump that in, instant beast!
  16. Anyone know the advantages behind RB30 bottom end and a RB25DET head? and no one has told me if a NEO head is worth the trouble? If your gonna go rb30 better of with the rb26 head, havn't heard of any advantages with a neo head I dont think theres alot of difference-as for more rb30 info theres a f***in HUGE thread just go the search button and put in rb30 conversion and read read read!

  18. PS:-you can push an unopened engine over 250kw even over 300kw but most recomend keeping below 270kw if you dont want to blow something internal
  19. PS where is the best place to get Skyline Mods from? is there anywhere in Adelaide? or worth branching out to NSW or Vic? Im in melbourne so I can't help with shop front retailers and workshops but I but most of my new parts through buisness traders on this forum or Ive found www.nengun.com (theres usually a link at the top of the forum) to be the cheapest and theyve got a huge range, If your going to get your stock turbo high flowed, thats having the internals replaced with garret parts and bringing it up to a 400hp turbo and keeping about the same spool time then rip it off and send it to CGC in NSW theyll do it for under 2g and usaually takes em bout 2-3days
