  1. With the bayside blue do have the blue silicon joiners? with all that nice new shiny bits on your engine and the blue silicon I think a deep purple would offset the blue and stainless nice, I hate to have to refer to holden but the purple on the I think VY/VX ss utes is a nice color that would go well but not the XR purple thats cheesy
  2. Check this one out its $23000 - $3000 more than you said you wanted to spend but its a GTST with an RB26DETT so you get the twin turbo power with the rwd that you want nice spray job and interior to, dont know had to add the link so ill just write it in www.allblitz.com.au/cars/005nskyline33orange.html or just wait till the allblitz add pops up at the top of the forum and click on it nice f...ing car! when I was looking and saw mine I thought yeah Ill get it and add the mods myself/upgrade blah blah blah sprayjob blah... but when you add it all up your better off buying one that someones allready done it to especially since for a good spray these days you can expect to pay 6-10k!! and thats just cosmetic, let someone else do all the spending and work and save yourself hassle in the long run
  3. Private sale-shouldve had mech look over it, I saw it, I drove it, I wanted it- all I really did was check for leaks/checked exhaust for smoke/checked belts etc... and gave a bit when I test drove it oh well live and learn, anyone know where to get a good RB25DET with turbo at a decent price?
  4. shuffle.bmpshuffle2.bmpshuffle3.bmpshuffle4.bmpshuffle5.bmp Yeh breaks aint bad, but hardstyle has breakdowns, the thump of techno, the energy of NRG, the funk of house, the evil of acid, the journey of trance and hard ass but shaking bass lines
  5. 2 questions How tall are you Do you plan on having people in the car If your about 6ft or over get the 33 Im 6.5 and just have enough room in mine I wouldn't fit in a 32 If you plan on having freinds in the car go the 33 aswell more space in the backseat and if I could go back and buy a skyline again Id get a mechanic I trust to have a good look over the engine/turbo/gearbox and diff while doing the test drive if possible I bought my first skyline just over two months ago and in that time Ive had to replace the clutch $1400 and now need new engine and turbo $2000-$3500 and thats just to get it back to good stock condition no upgrades besides exhaust and I went with an exedy heavy clutch so take your time and be sensible dont make the same mistakes I did, I just wanted a skyline BAD! but now Ive ended up spending dollars on repairs/replacement that couldve been spent on upgrades
  6. DnB and Hard NRG are old school! Hardstyle trance the way of the future
  7. Given up the idea of building an RB25/30 hybrid for my R33 GTS25T from the answers on pricing ive got latley its way above budget for me, now im just looking for a decent replacement RB25DET or maybe even an RB26DETT just wondering where is a good place to source one and what would be a fair price to pay, would like a rebuilt engine if possible with forged internals etc... but will settle for good condition stock motor any advice would be appreiciated
  8. Fair enough i just thought from what Id read about the N1 R34 GTR that it was a f***ing nice engine point taken
  9. I dont understand you guys if youve got that much too spend and still not sure wether your going to get a reliable engine, just jap have N1 GTR RB26 for $12800 if i had that much to spend thats the way id be going!
  10. How much are they going for and how much do you think it would cost to get a mech to do what you did(Im in vic so couldnt get you to do it)
  11. Interested, same questions as above, plus when do you need the money by?
  12. So how much all up did it cost you to buy and fit this turbo?
  13. which turbo are you putting on?
  14. I submitted a post today about KKR turbos got some interesting answers check posts for -KKr and Monsta turbos, anyone used these any good? alot of mods needed to fit these sort of cancels out the money you save sorry dont know how to include the link Im also thinking of an upgrade but not sure what to get i was thinking maybe 2835r Im still pretty new to this so dont know whats needed, engines stock, stock cooler, heavy duty clutch, split front dump and 3" exhaust on the way, saving for powerfc cars of the road at the mo was thinking of doing the full RB25/30 thing but from what Ive heard lately thats beyond my projected budget so im most likley either going to rebuild or drop in another stock engine so all I really want is a bolt on solution thatll give me a bit of extra pwr without any more problems, so if I leave the engine stock what turbo would be best?
  15. Ive got the same problem in my 33 thought maybe it just needed a regas if you figure it out post it it would really help
  16. my roof linings come loose, can you get replacment lining like for commos etc... or does it have to be made up? who does this? thanks
  17. Thanks for your input guys, you obviously get what you pay for which is what I expected
  18. Ive got 330w pioneer 6/9"s in the back and splits in the front and an 800w pioneer sub in the boot all powered by a 3200w 5 channel amp screwed to the back of the sub box in my R33, it was a real and I mean major prick getting the std speakers out of the parcel shelf and had to use spacers to fit the 6/9s but the sound is awsome in a coupe, the spacers dont look to bad for the moment but soon im going to copy what a mate did in his commo when he put 7/10s in and make moulded spacers for the shelf and just buy some shelf carpet and retrim the shelf around the spacers up to the edge of the speakers it looks pretty neat in his commo as if it was built like that and is not really a big job, just cut like two or three pieces of chip board with a jigsaw each smaller than the next to fit around the speakers glue the pieces together and then file and sand the edges to slope up towards the speakers, pull the carpet of the shelf and glue or screw your new spacers in then add the new carpet up over the spacers cut the holes in the carpet for the speakers and along the edges of the shelf making sure its all smooth then glue it down and your done just drop the speakers in and add screws and youve got a custom shelf and it looks mint, neither my mate or I are motor trimmers or the like and it looks professional, dosn't cost much and only takes a couple of hours like I said the hardest part is taking out the standard speakers I had to break the plastic mounts to get them out but you dont need them if your using bigger speakers unless your thinking of putting the stock ones back later.
  19. Been shopping around for a new turbo for my R33GTST and have seen a few Monstas on Ebay and been told about the KKRs on the Oshimoto site just after some opinions

  21. Sorry didn't mean to come across a smartass, not sure of my power goal yet, recently blew my RB25DET and i thought instead of just dropping in another stock engine might aswell do the upgrade so Im just asking around to see how much its going to cost me, not in a hurry Ive got another car to drive so probably gonna rip out the old engine and respray the whole car while the new engines being built but just looking at prices at the moment.thanks for your input
