I understand what your saying, but i've heard a few different 'lines that had pod filters and plumb backs and they're blow off noise was definitely different to mine, atleast enough to notice. Perhaps a GTR one is up my alley?

Im sorry, why wont i get the blow off noise with a plumb back? I was of the understanding the stock one is a type of plumb back, and it does its soft woosh courtesy of me having a pod filter. As i said im not crazy or interested in anything thats a big no no, so definitely not interested in atmo's. I did do a search and it seemed to just come up with loads for sale. Which doesnt really help me because i dont understand the differences in brands or specs to know what suits what im after. I guess im looking for information on what else is out there that functions the same as the stock, but better for a modded car running higher boost, and doesnt sound quite as soft? I want the sounded to suite, so a bit more manly.

Hi guys, Im after a new blow off valve. Have no idea what to go for. Right now i have the stocker in there with basic mods such as turbo back exhaust, pod, fmic, boost @ 12psi. I've finally reached the point where i want a blow off that sounds a bit deeper, a bit tighter. More of a tttsshhhh, instead of a ppsshhhh... if you follow me. A more solid and tight release sound, nothing too crazy though. Is changing blow off valve allowed? And can it be engineered? I'll be getting my car engineered in the near future. If someone could comment on whats available out there and what the differences are that would be awesome. Any recommendations would be good too. Thanks!!

God i cant remember, i think we lowered via the shocks 1, maybe 2 circlips. Honestly cant remember. It really probably needs lowering by another circlip to look right but i think it needs the whiteline springs first..

Hi sydneykid, Damn your popular pm box always full when i try to PM! I've had the bilsteins in my 33 for a few months now, using the stock factory springs. bit silly i guess but $$$! How much stiffer a ride do you think the whiteline give compared to what im experiencing now with bilsteins using factory springs? Or is it just too hard to say seeing as what ive done right now has thrown the stock springs compression ratio out? Also, are the whiteline springs the same size as stock? ie will direct swapping result in a lower ride height at all? Im thinking if not, but they are a bit stiffer, it might be wortwhile lowering the bilsteins another circlip groove all around. Thoughts?

Arent Walbro's really, well, average quality pumps? Trying to put it nicely. The Tomei isnt that expensive and probably much better quality. For what its worth Dave im running my car at 12psi and my fuel pump seems fine so far

Induction noise from pod doesnt drive me nuts at all i f'kin love it!!

im sort of (not the same but kinda similiar) experiencing that since my front mount went on. - i hate it. spool/turbo lag especially in second is significantly more noticable compared to before.

maybe i want to keep junkies away from my car. the mtecs are only slightly blue anyway, they arent like 8000k HID or anything, i think people are exadurating a bit here.

yeah im sure the white is brighter. I just got some R racing 4500k bulbs off the forums here, they are white. dont have shit all blue tinge though so dont like them. the mtecs were rted 4750k i think but the bulbs looked totally different was like a gas inside these R racing dont have that just are blue in colour... yet light seems to have no blue tinge. Would really love to see more pics of your crystal vision and diamond vision globes in use!!!

no offence but there is no way i could of gotten 2nd hand work rims for what i got my starcorp impuls. i had a brief look and everything was over 2k for rims alone!!! still too expensive for a 20k car. especially when that money can be used for so many other things.

double sided tape? isnt that a bit weak? What and from where?? It looks like what was there before was a black kinda foaming strip... my brother reckons its some kind of racing tape but i dunno.. its thick. i didnt know tape came thick like that??

Hi guys my front lip is coming off my front bar. Just the 2 front veritical parts either side in the centre of the bar. I thought sikaflex was what i should use but apparently i bought the wrong one and its for carpet and shit but it was the only one they had at supercheap. What exactly should i get and where?
