Hi Guys Since about 2 weeks ago, when i disarm my car with the remote its only doing the alarm system and not unlocking the doors. But if i use the remote to arm/lock then disarm again it will unlock the doors... as it should of, the first time! Anyone know whats causing this? We did have a fiddle in the drivers door about a month back inclouding the door lock mechanism... but surely that couldnt be the cause as it is locking fine and unlocking fine when i redo it. Pattern seems to be if i leave the car armed/locked for ages then disarm it wont unlock the doors... but im yet to find a solid pattern to it, its just a guess. Im a bit worried it wont actually lock the doors at some point, so im scared to let it arm after the turbo timer couts down. Anyone else had this issue or or know what could be the cause?

those grub screw ones arent that crash hot....ive had them nicked too. Look for a type that come with a plastic key like a claw that are required to undo what i can only describe as a child proof lock... i ordered them from the US a year ago but havent put them on as magically people stopped pinching mine!!! touchwood.

If experience with my home theatre is anything to go by, low frequency bass (eg sub) is much more forgiving in terms of where you place it than higher frequency souns from fronts are.

I've never bothered for the rears, they are just fillers in my opinion. Amp the front splits and sub(s). But each to there own.

Mate thats a bit more than i want to spend, as all i REALLY need is clips for 1 side. I bought the pair of weather shields i got at the moment fpr $50 delivered but lost the clips for them. (long story) I still have the passenger side one on my car but the drivers was broken when some dikheads tried and failed to get into my car, just did a fare amount of damage around window and lock. Please let me know if there is some sort of arrangement we can come too, PM me.

Hi Guys I have a set of R33 weather shields that are sadly missing the clips etc used to attach to car. Happy to pay, whether it be just the clips etc or whole weather shield. Only needed for 1 side (drivers) but open to a set. Really want these clips!!!

That might be ok will find out. Road use for me, so the 500c pads. Anyone experienced screaching or noise with QFM? I like quiet brakes.

Have an apexi pod since i imported the car probably about 18 months now. Just wondeirng if i should replace it? Car has done almost 30k kms.... plus im going to throw a pfc and tomei pump in shortly and get it tuned, but yeah regardless of that as a general question... how often? Cheers!

Noooo just found more damage!! they wedged somethng through the seal for the door handle enclosure, destroyed the seal damaged the body and paint all pealing. SCUM!

Hi Guys With all the thefts going on, and the attempted theft of mine on monday, im really interested to know what GPS security methods are out there and available? what do people use or have experience with? So far i have found http://www.quiktrak.com.au/ and http://www.ezitrak.com.au/ Quiktrak appears to be a complete alarm GPS tracking and monitoring solution. Where as ezitrak is a self monitoring/managing GPS solution. Are there others out there? I already have a farely good alarm system installed by a reputable person from this forum. His recommendation of components and install has saved my car once, maybe another time im not sure of. But i want more. Im happy with my current alarm system but ideally would like to add GPS on top of it, and preferably monitoring aswell since i am very often away from my car. So, what else is out there? What have peopled tried? what do you recommend?
