What good is putting it in diag mode? doesnt it needed to be hooked up to a nissan computer or something?? I dont even care about cost anymore i want it working.

Mate i cant drive the car anywhere really and ripping the ECU out is a bit of a last resort hehe I'll run some diag software on it via laptop tomorrow afternoon and try and replace fuel pump and see how we do. Anyone know how to drain fuel tank? That might be worth doing too.

If the car has been off for a while u can usually start it and rev it hard for a bit and usually only notice slight stutters in the engine/revs but it will progressively get worse and more frequent until it reaches the point where it will die as soon as u start it no matter how you try and rev it.

Just to clarify it will sort of stutter and shudder especially if revving or attempting to drive. Depends if u have it at low or high revs, which makes no difference except seems to have less chance of cutting out as frequently... but still stutters hardcore. If the car has been left alone for a while this can take a little while to happen. But It WILL cut out as a result of this, sooner if you "try" and drive it. if you leave the car for a while, ie 30mins + it will start and rev ok but still sutter and choke a little bit... the longer you keep reving it the worse it will get until it gets so bad even if you start it it will die straight away. But the longer you leave the car it seems the longer it will take to get to such a problematic state. make no mistake though, the car is essentially useless. Thoughts??

Guessing. And seeing as it has this problem, it literally cant be driven so no i cant take it to a mechanic or dyno lol

Hi Guys I think my fuel pump is farked. I have a s2 r33. Is the Bosch 040 a direct replacement? I did a search and couldnt find a guide for the 040... Cheers Rob

I have stock springs with aftermarket bilstein shocks, using the circlip grooves on the shocks to lower car 16mm (compensate for 18" rims). Seems alright to me.

Hey guys Anyone know if you can get replacement bits for starcorp rims. Yes i know they are cheap and crap blah blah but the little centre plastic starcorp logo cap and fitting piece that goes in the centre of each rim, my front left one has gone to shit and the actual fititng in it is broken amd rooted.... noo f**king idea how, never removed it until now. So yeah i want new plastic fitting and logo cap. Anyone done this? Cheers Rob

between 60-100kms.... depends. I've ran the car dry before (not a fun experience at 3am in the middle of nowhere), from memory i had done about 420kms all up.

Get a proper full on conversion kit, not a cheap ass "upgrade" kit.

Spoted an R32 on moore oxley road tonight ctown about 9:15, then a 33 on the same road further up at a set of lights opposite me. Gave a wave but got the usual dumb founded look in reply. and spotted a maroon r33 at ctown bowling carpark tonight.

Man dare i say it most fog lights arent distracting. Commodore ones are ok, falcon ones are a bit brighter but still ok to me. Big arse WRX ones are blindingly obviously bigger and brighter and some european cars have annoying ones but on the whole its such a blown out of proportion issue its just fund raising and easy at that. Its easier to get a decent guy for fog lights or a pod filter compared to some troublesome dickhead causing havoc in the neighbourhoods.

Spotted most of u guys at oran park yesterday just spectating had huge night thursday and massive hangover with almost no sleep (f**king thanks DIF!) so was feeling quite the worse for wear. Didnt really meet anyone except for Liz and Wilch briefly but even then i was out of it. Fark me and about to do a repeat tonight! Damn there was alot of 34's!
