  1. EA Games and Namco just signed a contract to bring D1GP to the english speaking masses this year. Stay tuned, a local version will be available soon. Japanese 2006 edition (or whatever the last installment is) is still pretty cool though.
  2. save your self the trouble. the game is ghey with aids.
  3. Shuto Kousoku is a series of 6 movies or something from way back in the day that basically covers the highway racing/culture of the time. I think the first one dosen't have Tsuchiya, but the rest have em (2 thru to 6). I remember getting it on VHS aaages ago, might still have it around. The soundtrack was ghey. The only decent tracks in it were the ones by the Teriyaki Boys (the title song, not that rubbish with daddy yankee), Slash and Evil Nine. The rest was just reggaeton/hip hop garbage strung together to sell to the masses. And yeah J-Pop/Electronica sucks balls.
  4. have they tried moving away temporarily to see if its the child that's causing the stange occurances or if its the house? just start eliminating possibilies I reckon. There HAS to be a cause.
  5. lol if you're selling the gearbox then its an awesome idea, you can adapt them to fit... if you're buying it, then its a horrible idea...
  6. just looking at the original post and reading the website... I'd avoid it as you send him specs of your car and he guesstimates a good map for you? What bollocks. Just because it works for some monkey in a similar car dosen't mean it'll work for you... very risky. Have it tuned in real time on a dyno. The downside to a remapped ECU is that you have to remap it almost every time you change your car's mods. Other than that its pretty cost effective.
  7. if you don't need it to be road registered, find a shell that cannot be registered (writeoff, failed compliance, parts import etc) and build it up. That way you start from scratch. That's if you don't have access to a CAMS accredited license that makes you eligible for a race import. However if you are eligible for a race import then you can buy GTR's that are in various stages of modification. From: http://www.j-spec.com.au/list/6600 to http://www.j-spec.com.au/list/3340 to http://www.j-spec.com.au/list/6377 (just using race imports on our mailing list as examples). There's heaps more modified ones out there. As a race import it dosen't have to meet the strict rules for SEVS so you can actually hunt around for some real bargains in japan.
  8. yeah that'll be to appease all the american fanboys who seem to want to stick RB engines into everything from their 240sx's to their hondas. Over here its cool to put a LS1 in a skyline shell that you pick up for a couple of grand Or actually own a mustang with a proper ford engine... now that's an achivement.
  9. fcuk yeah... now I can paint my 86 yellow and not be told that I copied crab.
  10. yeah rhys millen set up the Evo's for the movie (all the stunt ones were RWD from memory), and he's no stranger to em... love the number of cameo's in the movie from "people in the industry" that you'd only pick up if you weren't a newbie. They should have a spinoff TV show or something on it about the life of Han... he's probably the only character that's even half decent in all 3 fast n furriest movies. As for the cars in the movie... all of the hero cars (with the exception of the S15) are available in the US. US movie, US cars. What bollocks... only a splattering of S13's, AE86's and Skylines for "oh shit it must really be japan" sake.
  11. you know they're almost all american right? very little of it was shot in japan
  12. uras makes a conversion kit as well... looks like arse with a pinch of smelly foot odour if you ask me.
  13. R32 GTR box will work in a R32 GTS4, you just need to swap the final drive gear from the GTS4 box into the GTR one so your speedo keeps reading right.
  14. ffs you wonder why there's a lack of people in the cef section... keep it in your pants I agree with konect tho... the one with the australian map in the background is too complex... maybe incorporate the flag instead?
  15. someone's about to feel a whole lot of pain.
  16. the FTO's an awesome package... much more efficient engine, handles great and looks nice. Supras are only fun in turbo form, NA supras can GAGF. Failing that I'll throw in the Toyota Levin AE111 into the mix... i'd have trouble picking between that and an FTO.
  17. errh... I'm from 02 too... and partially NSW too I guess.
  18. ^^ what he said josh, if you've got your approval, give one of the boys in the office a call, they'll give a breakdown of who you need to talk to and what you need to do.
  19. East Bear... powerplay in syd can get em for you... I think they're the official distributor in aust. Talk to Tosh (SAU NSW).
  20. A whole bunch of VICDrift guys went down last night to the drive ins.
  21. you suck at making threads. fail.
  22. says "with supercharger" or something like that.
  23. yeah I could sort that part of it out. actually, the one I did about rear speaker install was a thread
