  1. Just re-read the history of that car. That was the P10 which wasn’t that successful. It was effectively just a Pulsar SSS with IRS. The P11 was a much better and more successful beast. I’m surprise for a campaign in the 2000’s they bought such an old car.
  2. I’ll offer him $50 and a cold beer and see if he wants to sell. Will save me building one
  3. Been playing with some ideas using Gen AI 🤣 I had the first strawberry face 180 in oz back in 99… maybe I should do the first strawberry P11?
  4. Says on the site that the car was sold to Keith Linnell. His shop is about 15 mins from my place. My try to see if he still has it!
  5. They were. I bought the AWD for experimenting but racing it would disqualify or disadvantage me from a few race classes. Def getting a FWD for racing.
  6. Inspiration: https://www.nissan-global.com/EN/HERITAGE_COLLECTION/Primera_GT.html
  7. Yeah, hard to find and a pain in the ass to change with the transverse engine. I’ve worked on a GTiR before and it’s not a job I’d ever want to do again. theres a company in South Africa that makes RS3 gearbox adaptors for the AWD SR20 including gearbox mounts, so I could modernise it and go a dual clutch with paddles. For now tho, it ticks all the boxes. Super cheap, can throw the kids and their junk in the back, and SR20 that I can turbo cheaply, a CVT that’s not a dog’s breakfast like the V35, and has 80% interchangeable parts with stuff I can source from the wreckers cheaply…. But it’s still unique. I love the wagon back of the Autech version. It’s cheap enough that I can buy another stock manual FWD Primera with SR20VE, swap the gearbox to the N15 pulsar short gear ratio box, swap out the brakes to the R32 ones I pulled off my 32, register it on club plates and take it racing. $1300 shipping from NZ. Heaps of parts and aftermarket builders for transverse SR20’s in NZ.
  8. I’ll drive it a bit but there’s an Audi RS3 DSG kit available for it if I want to go all out - or GTiR box
  9. Winner winner chicken dinner! an Autech P11 Primera AWD wagon with a CVT and more importantly an SR20VE. I’ll drive it around for a bit and see if I like it, and look at getting a FWD sedan to go BTCC inspired build and to get seat time in IPRA and Super sprints under the 2L NA class.
  10. Close. Not quite. You’re on the right track. It’s a super obscure car that not many people in Australia own or would’ve even heard of. A hint: it was developed to dominate a gaijin racing championship.
  11. Nope 😁 1999/2000 model
  12. Seller is holding the car for me with a deposit until I can fly back to Auckland to check it out. It’s a 2L Nissan AWD
  13. Soooo I may have purchased another car from NZ It has Nissan motorsport pedigree... and if I like it, I might be selling the 32 (or my Golf) to buy another one to take IPRA racing.
  14. Jeez... I forgot I posted this 11 years ago!
  15. Spotted in NYC! Fresh off the boat too it seems!
  16. I was just watching these boys up in QLD AWD'ing their S13 too.
  17. Por que no los dos? At least my euro brawler is reliable - unlike the JDMs I've had. Sheraaz you look familiar, did you ever come to an SAU VIC meet aaaaaages ago?
  18. Drove to Cape Schanck to try to get a nice clear southern view over the ocean to see the lights a couple of days ago... instead got crappy cloud cover. Photo of a diorama of Hong Kong street scene. Taken on an iPhone 13 Pro Max.
  19. Aw man, I was in Belgium earlier this month in Brussels and Bruges. Would've been awesome to see a Skyline all the way over there! I did load up on Tintin merch though Welcome!
  20. Ran into this bloke trying to give Oscar some advice pre-race today.
  21. I’m hosting a bunch of execs in the McLaren box on Saturday. If you’re around I’ll come say hi, and see if I can sneak out some freebies.
  22. yeah I'd have bought a couple of houses in Sydney in the past, and then come back forward in time, sold the houses and use the money to buy more R32 GTRs.
  23. blame old mate Hawkins for that one I remember way back in the day the japanese didn't want them either... they always assumed a race shell would be thrashed. We found a few when looking for an R34 GTR for the Whites to drive in Targa Tas back in 2002.
  24. I mean an N1 came with a minimal paint thickness compared to dealer models. It’s probably had a ton of vinyls and stuff possible a race paintjob or two over the years. you don’t buy an N1 for its stunning good looks or comfort 🤣 you buy it to send it and measure how much air you can get on the hill at Bathurst
