if you were an american fanboy, how pissed off would you be if it came out as an "infiniti GT-R" instead of a JDM tyte Skyline? I personally think it looks like arse, but to people in the states where a skyline GTR is forbidden fruit, and the closest thing you can get to it is a G35 or a $80,000 R32, it'll probably be welcomed with open arms. The GTR's of the 90's has always been a poor man's supercar when compared to the global market (even though it dominated the Japanese market), so Nissan would wanna improve that image with this release.

Probably isn't as strong as a GTR's driveline. It's pretty much the same driveline as an R32 GTS4 with an RB26 swap.

shorty_01, if you're on the east coast J-Spec usually organise shipping through Kiwi, whose shipping fee includes insurance. However Kiwi don't service WA, which is why they recommend that people get insurance with Midas for peace of mind. In any case the guys here will organise shipping from Japan for you, and they can also assist you with anything else required once the car has landed including customs clearance, transport to you if required, shopping around for compliance, etc. The idea is for the $1000 you get a complete service, from start to finish, not just phone numbers and a pat on the back. Oh and inspection cost is around 20,000 Yen ($230), its an option that's available on cars at car dealers, through private sellers and cars on yahoo auctions. This gets you more details of the cars condition, modifications, and possible defects as well as around 60 to 100 additional photos.

Just looking into a few forum plugins that tells you off if you have bad spelling in your posts. now multiply that by the hundreds and thousands of times the page is loaded every day that's the sort of overheads you're looking at for a menu like on boostcruising. I'll see if there's any simpler sort of menu's that we can use (maybe text only). Not really a huge priority though as its more convenience than a necessity.
