  1. and i am OLD i was there
  2. Ha ha ToF. Costing too much for whom...? Everyone needs a plausible excuse I suppose. its just a belief i have i impose on other's It looks a little to convenient for Holden and Ford for my liking. Who cares anyway commodores are primitive bombs full stop that Thrive on marketing like the Article this Thread is about... heres one for ya ? Imagine a VX or BF trying to beat a R34 around Bathurst, it just wouldnt happen lolol
  3. i think its fine to compare them to skylines .... i was commodore until the vn where i went back to Vl (nissan) in disgust... Holden have lost there way ...Ford seem to have taken it I am so disinterested in holden Commodore now that i would'nt even know if their engines have overhead cams YET! haha Keep trying to catch up you Dopey Lion Oh and remember skylines were kicked out of racing so these car companies could have theie meat heads back winning
  4. no do not divert the water away from the head. the head must always flow water. You block each end of the inlet/outlet jacket to the plenum so its bypassed. This is easy on An RB30 I cant comment on the twincam stuff. note! you will Have ruff start up if you live in cold areas....
  5. Rob's right ! its mainly for start up ... on Rb30's we bleed it and blocked it off for some interesting results
  6. sorry YUK! i would just rather my GTR anyday .... or maybe i would settle for 2004 schumacher track special instead ..... !
  7. up to what PSi? i want the 35psi/ VAC and your ment to put a price as the rulz state ....
  8. this is VL rb30 talk so you may want to dis-regard! We had really good results with Stock Ecu and a t3 hiflow on Jon Keen's Dyno. It seemed to learn alot better than an AVO upgrade ecu that was designed for more power which actualy created knocking at a lower boost setting? The stock Ecu more than covered the fuel pump and injector capacity and when it found its limit we added another cold start injector on a pressure switch for some nice power. In the end it was running about 16 psi, hobb's triggered at about 14psi for about 220rwkw. beutiful for no tunning. The stock ECU will run out of scope and you will want more power but I found it wasent nececary until i got used to the new power anyway.
  9. get it tracked .... you can easily get this info if you file a report about it ...
  10. bwhahahaaaaaa! ok man!
  11. yep looks like he's trying to jag a desperate person and because he cant he's getting pissed... Cool cars theses things to drive! when you stop treating people like idiots you may just get your ASS behind the wheel of one ...
  12. Whats with the 2 threads about this ECU ?

    Ferrari Crash

Agreed! but i would couple that with underskilled and bad judgement. Accidents can happened at 100% concerntartion if you are way passed your ability and enviroment .
  14. That looks good!. I like the Wideband lambda features i assume are included in the price. just to enable that in a motec will take close to a grand away from your pocket. If you find some one that is good with them, as in totaly understands their install and diagnostics i see no reason why not to buy it unless you need special features like Launch, traction, gearcut control Etc. it does look like they are trying to supply a similar feel to the motec system with out the huge prices and fancy features for drag. More info on the site for the Dash would be Helpful too... And did these guys join up with EMS ? Good luck N1 R33 GTR ...

  16. COOl .. I am setting up a permenent lappy station for my car Aswell. Not Sure if i am going to go dedicated PC or lappy station! Have you guys seen any mounting systems for Laptops or ultra slim fold away LCD's that i could passenger Swivel dash mount?
  17. I will keep watching this ... My friend in adelaide rigged his Fj20 to work like this. He was told not to do it as the turbine keeps spinning flat out and the Turbonetics may not have the oil system to cover it .... Guess what ... the car absoulutley Hauled ASS until the bearings cooked... Nizpro...Simons a smart mofo... he would of had it rigged up through the motec and totaly trouble shot with his vast knowledge ... There ara few ZOOMs that explain this method ... but be warned
  18. i still have most of my Snap-on tools from apprentice days and my Uncle had a Van (didnt help on price). Awsome tools but the cost Sheesh!! More better suited as a Tax dodge for business... Anyway my mate started buying kingcrome and i am really impressed with there stuff as they seem to steal most of the good ideas from the big boys ... Individual Tools shops are everywhere ! Ask a tradesman in your Area.
  19. Try Ebay mate , Alot of import Wrecker's have ebay shops now where the upload all there stoclk . My mates have score some fantastic rims this way
  20. I originally was planning to do that SydneyKid until Motec themselves (Mark McCoy Motec Support) recommended the piggybacking System. LOL Maybe he was looking at it from a budget point of view? Have to see what some of the installers say in Melbourne... I can put up the Mail if anyone is interested?
  21. 0.13 when she posted!
  22. I dont know! .... She's obiously immature, something that does not mix if you Amp up a skyline or any car under any influence ! You can peptalk or insult her all you like if you think she will learn a better Attitude! But i doubt it will help utill she really scares ,hurts herself or grows up.
  23. straight off my key ring http://www.xtremeclutch.com.au/
  24. Beware some mechanics guessing things about them! this wont apply to most because you live in capital cities and should have acces to Better informed mechanic's etc... My cars is fairly good alround ,its the small things like a rear turbo dump leak that get you because of the complexity of getting to it .. I seriously do not Advise buying a cheap one unless you totaly understand whats wrong and costs involved first. and even then it will be more accoriding to Murphy's!
