  1. I like all sorts of games, but of late feel like a turn based style game.
  2. his user name on sau is 75coupe http://www.metal-ink.net/
  3. I didn't bother using a translator tool, just followed the link but it looks like one of those padded back pillow things... =/
  4. I'm giving my handout back... REGO! I think I'll bank the change in protest... or to just continue the trend with what a large number of recipients will do... minimally stimulating the economy. But in answer to Dreamr33's question, if i were you I'd spend it on suspension mods. Like someone mentioned earlier sways, and a front and rear strut brace, or some second hand shocks in good condition.
  5. Looking forward to the next update =)
  6. I totally agree. I had a great day, but even as a spectator i was Extreamly frustrated at how the final shoot out went down. They talked it up to no end, and i wasn't expecting fast times as it was late and the track looked pretty cold. But the timing was terrible. I was watching from the final corner, and nearly every car on the hot lap was coming in close to the car on it's cool down through the dogleg and final corner. It was one of the fastest sections, with plenty of cars getting air time in the earlier sessions but most of the shoot out drivers coming through this section, had to worry about the car on it's "cool down" I had a great day best $15 i spent! The day payed for itself, free car wash, dyno runs and show bags LOL pluss a full day of pretty much non stop racing. I hope i don't have to wait another 12months for my next installment.
  7. I saw a R33 with R33SUM (or SOM) don't remember I thought thats pretty cool, then i noticed the GTR badge..... it was a gts-t =/
  8. Hang on guys... but if the corvette was on a roll.... and if it had different tires, and if it was a different track, and if the gtr wasn't running an Awd system, oh oh then the corvette would win...
  9. HAHAHA no theres nothing to tell, i've been talking GTR's up to him for years, he likes them, but he loves his Subaru's we were just talking about the new GTR and what you get for your buck. Thats why i think targa will be so much more interesting next year, becuase this year will put the GTR on the radar for alot of people who can afford a car practically ready to race. But if anyone has a spare R35 they want to see win targa let me know and i'll put you in contact with him lol. That way he'll beat richards for the 3rd time (in a row) and show richards he needs to get his but back in a gtr
  10. Yeah i think it's going to surprise alot of people who have been kept relatively in the dark about the cars capabilities. I'm sure after this year alot of people will be looking at raceing in one themselves. I was talking to tony the other week saying i saw one on the net for just over 100k and said he shoudl buy it lol (only to be race registered) and he said it's a great price for such a fast car, and that alot of people will probably consider getting one. Targa is going to be very interesting this year =) but i'm even more excited for next
  11. Yep I agree Only because the privateer "Tony Sullens" isn't going back this year to beat him again
  12. I hope it's on time... =/ I'm going down early so i can get back on a train to Newcastle for UNI.. the lack of sleep and hours spent commuting south only to go back north again will be worth it
  13. Tint looks cool mate, good choice. I run 5% all over my black r33 and it looks great, never have any problems (touches wood) with legalities. Anybody considering 5% should just go out and do it, chances are driving a skyline there going to be adding other "illegal" modifications so whats one more
  14. Fair enough. Oh well good luck you can do anything to cars, it's just a question on how much your willing to pay. The thread starter might be interested in a cheaper option that looks pretty similar
  15. Grommets just sound so dodge for a permanent job. I mean were talking about modifications for a skyline, if the jobs permanent, do the car the justice it deserves and do it properly. I'm sure you could use rubber grommets just like people use a bucket for a pod cover.. lol Seriously mate i'm sure you could go to any local business that does welding, ask them to weld a plate on the underside, then bogging is really quite easy. Give it a go yourself bog it up and sand it back. Otherwise panel shops fix front bars for like $180, and they do all the work them self, so I'm sure if found someone to weld it up, you could then just drop your boot lid in at the start of the week you'd have it back in a few days for around $200 cash.
  16. If it's going to be permanent, you could get them welded up and bogged and sprayed relatively cheaply. Not that hard to do most the work your self, and just leave the spray for teh experts, probably cost a couple of hundred. Otherwise Bluetac FTW
  17. You can by a little spoiler that sits in the gap and makes it look relatively flush. Better looking IMO, google drift wing, and press images, see if you like the look of that.
  18. 5% I've never been pulled up in about 3 years. Who cares about legalities, it looks cool and most decent mods you'll do down the track will be defectable. Why not add to the collection =)
  19. I wander if that one on jspec is still there, that can only be imported as a race car. What colour was it =)
  20. 9 people watching! Oh feel the love for the new GTR!!!!!!!!!! Get pics up ASAP!
  21. I'm running a bride rail with a Spaco Pro 2000, had to modify the rail (drilling holes) to fit it =) still wasn't to much of a hassel. I'd go a real seat over a "copy" anyday i've sat in them and there just not the same.
