Pete it could be a loos bolt that mounts the turbo . Dont assume its your turbo when funny sounds come when its on boost. Quite a few people have assumed that while it has only been a loose or a broken bolt. Get it checked out before you depress yourself for nothing my friend.

could be that you didnt put the belt back on properly they have timing markings that you are meant to match up? Get someone to do a compression test.

Did it occur on idling or driving?

Yes they will because they arent a free spining motor. You will get bent valves if the timing belt snaps.

Guys guys guys. Pure speculation. DOnt make poor cereal worry for nothing! The gtir is a great car. its also been known as the true baby godzilla. You pull off very very quick times in them easily. I have never heard of a gearbox gone BOOM! Thats rare. But you can make any cars box go boom. Cereal I fyou like the car at the end of the day like me then get it. Its a great car and fast and has quad throttle bodies. And it has had some great reviews! go for it man!

hehehe your such klutz man. Well good to see that your ok, yeah R33 are such beautiful cruisers but gti-r will get you real speed. Gti_r into the 13's is kid stuff like the wrx. For a s kyline it takes abit more money. But skylines do win looks hands down.

The RB configuration due to it being a six cylinder 2 litre has shorter strokes so off the factory its lacking in torque and yes less than the sr20det. The RB revs out very nicely though and isnt so weazy. The RB bottom end is probably stronger being cast iron. The SR has the potential to go 350-400hp stock but then again so does the RB. I personally would go with the RB because its just a better starting point. I do like the timing chain setup on the ser20det because it doesnt cost money to change it on the 100 k service. But end of the day its how much money you have and both motors are very reliable.

petesmith its very normal. On idle you always have negative and on accelerating its positive and dont forget and this is a big thing R33 OWNERS dont realise is the factory boost gauge isnt in psi, its in mmhg or something
