I looked at some V35s today which you can see on Ebay that had the seats redone in leather and they looked great except for the bolsters. This part looked like a typical re trim, very amateurish I was told they can be done for about $2000 but that would I am sure be a dealers discount price. cheers Geoff

I spent the whole day yesterday looking at V35s and was stunned at the attitude of a few sellers. The first was a piece of shit and had imo had the speedo wound back as it was gutless, corroded and an overall disappointment. Never mind. I dropped into a Parramatta Rd dealer who had one and had a chat but said to the salesman I just want to check the 350Z over the road before I take his for a drive. When I crossed the rd and asked about the 350Z and asked for a drive the salesman says "Sure, I'll get the keys" and goes inside. Returns a minute later "Sorry the 350 sold yesterday!" Bullshit! I then went to a guy who advertised "Darling Harbour" only to fond he has a warehouse in Camperdown. 4 other V35s on my list to see later that day from different suburbs were in the same warehouse and were being sold by his relatives! Some lovely cars but did not match the description on Carsales.com.au which a wise friend told is how dealers use just one add to keep advertising different cars by changing just one bit of info at a time. They wouldn't budge on price at all which is odd considering the economic meltdown at present. Oh well lucky I'm not in a hurry. Geoff

Doubled edged sword I am afraid. Sure cars in transit will have to go up. Cars already here may be used to try and offset that a little however the world economy has gone down the gurgler as we all know. How many cars would have been sold anywhere last weekend? Methinks probably none.

I can't remember the name of the street but its the main street from Ometsando to MeijiJingomae. Half way along on the left is an awesome toy shop with more plush figures than I have ever seen before anywhere. Good luck and have a Mos burger for me somewhere along the way Cheers Geoff

Is there any way to find out what these cars sold for at auction in Japan? I keep playing with lots of calculators but need some actual sale data to see where I stand in my search for V35 6speed with a sunroof. cheers Geoff

Yes the $ is very sad! I was reasonably happy with my calculations down to 75 Yen but 68 and falling

These are the wheels I had on my 300zx. They are Enkei RP03s 9.5inch +38 offset with 265s on the front and 285s on the rear. Will they fit the V35? Cheers and thanks Geoff

Hi Guys I have been a fan of the V35 for a fair while but they were just too expensive for me. Well I just sold my beloved 300ZX and am now looking for a 350GT Premium 6sp with sunroof. Need to save a little more but look forward to learning more about this great car. Cheers Geoff
