  1. Bump! Still for sale... anyone looking to do a front end conversion??
  2. Awww look now we're friends :P Only took you 3 months!

  3. I've got a set of conversion fenders for a R33 - to do a front end conversion to a R34 gt-t. I had to buy different fenders as I'm doing a R34 GTR conversion so these didn't fit, GTR is wider. They're made of fibreglass and do need SLIGHT fibreglass work - however considering the new pair of fenders I just bout cost me $700, I'd say $350 is a good price PM me if you're interested. No I don't have a pic atm but they pretty much just look like normal R33 fenders, as white unpainted fibreglass.
  4. If you want to buy those conversion guards matsr31, PM me.
  5. Nah its a series 1 sorry! but all those parts will be up for sale in a couple of weeks
  6. Well the new brackets and support bar probably come with the Bee-R kit then, for it to be bolt on. I managed to get a few good prices with my parts The price we pay for our cars huh! I haven't got rear guards atm, too worried about getting the fronts to fit for now but yeah I am looking at getting them later otherwise it might look a lil weird!
  7. Mikey I bought GTR parts - the headlights/bonnet/front bar and guards I bought seperate - not as a kit. I just got the wrong guards obviously. But what I'm saying is with the conversion you can't just say its "bolt straight on" cos its not - stuff has to be modified, like brackets and support bar. If R34 parts fitted straight on a R33 without some sort of modification then they'd be called R34s too.
  8. Well the ones I bought are gtt and don't fit - my conversion is GTR. Obviously I didn't realise this till they wouldn't fit yesterday! Well they would fit, but with gaps etc.. not cool. Michael - I did buy genuine parts It's not a bolt on job hey, you don't realise until you're actual doing it.
  9. Aw thanks Androo Although your right, too many ppl are doing it now Gotta be careful with what guards you buy, cos the conversion guards I bought don't fit due to them being GTT ones. I had it all stripped down today for the new front to go on and had to put the 33 front back on again So it'll be done in the next week or so when when the new guards come. Matt - you can't just put a R34 bonnet on a R33 they're completely different. You gotta buy conversion guards, R34 bonnet, R34 headlights and R34 front bar. Then to fit it there has to be custom brackets made up for the new headlights and a bit of modification to your support bar so it all fits flush... bit of mucking around and lots of $$$
  10. Haha thanks on both accounts ;P It's from Japan, Border Racing kit... - Kat :)

  11. You're a genius, why didn't I think of that first?!
  12. Yeah so no racing and then being followed by a chopper.. *cough* so Dan, there really is a cruise hahah We'll prob be in!
  13. It's not a waste of money if its something you always wanted to do... each to their own I spose! You're gonna lose money in a car no matter what really. Sam, nah we won't need engineers certificates, cos we're not changing the chassis - only the panels. Shouldn't be a prob at all. BUT as Kym brought up to me last night, insurance might be different.. if you have a crash and need something replaced they've got the right to say they're going to replace your front fender/bumper with standard R33. Thats NOT cool - so just don't crash
  14. I wanted to do it for awhile too, but now I actually followed through
  15. Hey Sam, just to let you know it's not 3k hey. Depending what kit and stuff you go with, its like 6k... then you gotta paint it And don't you "hi kat" me dan! 342Four... thanks for the comments champ!
  16. And why aren't we friends?! Thats just rude... ps yes he's tinkerbell, he can be any character you want for $50.. in my pocket of course

  17. Oooh *comments* hi spunk ;)

  18. Ok don't ever mention seagulls again lol. And we first met at the SAU members only cruise few months back that went through Toodyay, I was in Kyms car.. well at least I think we did, now you're making me not trust my memory!
  19. Haha mine are 19s Hence why stockies next time! Comparing the difference will be interesting actually.
  20. Yeah had a bit of problem getting traction for awhile - I didn't let down tyre pressure or anything though so next time I'll make sure I take some slicks or stockies to get a better time First time I've taken it down too so gotta work on a perfect launch for limited spin I think! Oh bugger Not even on the octane photos??
  21. Hey Kylie the pics look really good! Didn't see you thou, you should've come down and said hi
  22. Ant - where do you think you're going?! You best be coming back for visits! I know you SAID you will but you better follow through. Was nice meeting you dude
  23. Was a good night guys! Cept for lack of traction I think half of WA turned up to race their cars - never seen so many down there on a Wednesday night sheesh!
