  1. ummm pair? is in, you only have two???
  2. just cause you have a box around a pod filter doesn't make it cold air induction... are you saying you have a new pipe pulling in cold air that goes through the factory intercooler piping hole? or have you not done that yet?
  3. well theres your problem... if you had the snorkel before, and then took it off and didnt do the CAI properly, you wont be getting cold air... you will see a dip in performance... do the CAI and it should be a lot better
  4. check the fuse box in the boot too... then check the other fuses again... dont think it could be anything else... unless a wire was snipped somewhere...
  5. yeah, font ftl... and you, ftl... im gunn ahave to pretty up my car too now! i rewired the boot so it looks better (still temporary ) and i wired up the tweeters and mounted them properly... no more drift spec i think im gunna buy some paint and pretty some stuff up while i can
  6. hey man, does it look like i know everything about turbos? do you think its my main area of expertise??? i was basically saying that it wasn't a 33 turbo, and being as how he gave a choice of 2, i took a stab in the dark... and missed knew someone would come and correct me
  7. yes and no... im pretty sure the exhaust housing on the 33 was larger... so even from a stock 33 turbo, it wouldnt be much of an upgrade... especially if you have to pay for it... then theres the oil lines and what not, i have no idea if it would perfectly fit up... If your paying any sort of money for it, get a high flowed 33 turbo from slide, $890 delivered i think...
  8. thats a stock T3 from a 33... and by the looks of both wheels being steel, the bore size being right at the edge, and the centre metal nut being cut for balancing... i would say its a highflow R32 turbo
  9. why not give Just Jap a call? im sure they would be cheaper...
  10. i suppose mine is set at that... ive never changed it... but ive never seen it get as low as 650 either... its sits pretty comfortably at about 800...
  11. could help... could also help to move your RCA wire away from any power wire... new RCAs help too... ive found that once they are like that, its hard to make them stop doing that...
  12. probably a 1200W amp... how much are you willing to spend? is it 600W rms? how long is a piece of string?
  13. thats just the supply for the parts... you still have to make it yourself... that being said, im off to bunnings
  14. someone PLEASE buy these... i would love to see what 1000W actually does to them!
  15. everyones 6x9's are more powerful then my subs EDIT: if someone wants to get a set of those speakers, i would GLADLY run 800 watts through them and see what happens
  16. OOOoohhh ill talk to you about it in August if you still have it... DECA!
  17. no your pretty much right... but its still muffled... normally the seat and metal construct is enough to stop any road noise coming through... it works for me... i saw the rubber mat as a waste of my time... and rubber absorbs sound quite well, at any frequency... its unnecessary though... wont make a massive difference, but will make a little difference and you shed some weight by taking it out
  18. not when the mat is BETWEEN YOU AND THE SUB... behind = good come on man... use your brain... you already have some metal, and a seat covering your sub from your ears, do you really want a rubber and fibre mat there too?
  19. thanks for that... ill have a look at the angles this arvo... i think mine is pretty much straight on, but its worth a check
  20. Brookvale mufflers... they can do anything, im sure they can do this PM me for more info if you want...
  21. crap... ive been thinking about this for AGES! im either going to do mine white, or with a carbon fibre vinyl... I might get it painted white... depends if my vinyl ever turns up
  22. OH! STEERING WHEEL! i totally thought you meant car wheel... like, all four... no clue sorry
  23. I have it on my right side (from drivers seat) and Alfas have it on their left... but the place that was designed for, drives on the opposite side of the road... I just screwed mine onto the front bar... works fine... i thought about getting L brackets, but it wasnt necessary and i like how it looks now... a lot better then up on the dash... i had it like that for a while... im suprised i have never been pulled over in this car... PS: al, i LOVE that wing
  24. yeah, run it tp the side and under the door sil, through the seat and into the boot... you might want to think about taking out that sound deadener behind the seat too while your at it... especially if you only have a 10' its bit of a bitch job, but its the best way to do it... have fun
