  1. My brother already did that with a texta and white out... looked FLAWLESS! Hats off to him, but I had to clean it Mmmm probably no... knowing my luck and brain activity levels, my window will be up, and it will all go downhill from there
  2. Hehe, you've got my attention too!I was going to buy a new flatscreen or ECU... still have the cash lieing around somewhere... and I'm still undecided... the way this is going, I'll keep being undecided and have enough for both! But yeah, I know nothing about ECUs and tuning cars, so everyone else who does know something can do the test runs
  3. lol, what were the plates? I saw a Maserati today too... dunno which one... was newish...
  4. This was heading through hornsby... I was in the line behind it i think...
  5. It's not like you were late, I only got them back around 2 oclock today (Thursday) when they were taken on Saturday... Originally the plates were taken by the highway patrol, but from his point of view, he was doing the right thing... in fact, I think he is the ONLY officer that did the right thing... Everyone else I dealt with kept on palming it off onto every one else, from station to station, person to person... Then when i asked for an apology I got yelled at and pretty much threatened... and told I have an attitude problem...
  6. It does a bit actually! Sorry I didn't see this before... Nah that's not my car, it's on Cassbo's car That one is fairly ordinary, doesn't do much... I'll be working on a strobing, flashing, controllable one soon, but it will take a LOT of time (I might have some of that soon! ) and quite a bit of money... EDIT: Turns out I did see this before and already answered it LED, and no, as you can see they are pretty evenly spread...

ummm... like... You have fun with that k?
  8. I think you can buy as many as you like... but I wouldn't go scalping them out the front the next day

How sweet of you to let me pay for you I will be just like a date, except I won't be there and I don't like you How bigs the banner? Just to be a smartass, you and a mate should book seats in the NSW section, 8 seats apart, and make the sign that width and hold it up heaps high... so you block the view for everyone behind it

I will.. ya poof... and by will, I pretty much mean I'll leave you stranded at the terminal
  12. Yeah, I'm not impressed to be honest. But mistakes were made on both sides. Entry doesn't really cost them anything, I'm surprised they're holding onto them so tightly. The discounted passes will be $7 less then a normal day entry, but they are for both days, and you get to go in an hour earlier then it opens.
  13. Yeah, I'm the kinda guy that will stand up when he gets knocked down unfairly... call it attitude if you want. I wasn't taking this lieing down. I know what B-man said, and that's what I went to do this morning. Try and understand that I KNEW the plates were around town somewhere, they were local. I could have gotten new ones pressed but that is a long wait and incurs a cost that I would then have to fight out of not paying (or so I thought). I could be a bitch and take that route and wait 6 weeks for my plates while my other ones are destroyed... OR I could not, and have my plates sitting right next to me now... Difficult choice I must say... but yeah, besides the fine which I'm sure won't be hard to fight, it's all over The police were still extremely incompetent though... Thumbs up for the RTA but...
  14. yeah I think they close up at 9 or 10... that time will be fine Also, bad news... Hi Stephen, They know damn well that's not how I spell my name I'm speaking with Duncan to organise payment. The only way he can pay it is via cheque so whilst I am not charging anyone the late fee, unfortunately we can not provide a buddy pass for the entrants. Discounted buddy passes will be available from me on Friday night if you organise how many you need and come and speak quietly to me. I'm sorry for the confusion but Duncan insists that yesterday was the first he heard about getting payment to us. By the time the cheque is entered the payment should clear the day before the event. Unfortunately its was due on the 23rd of May. We are usually pretty accommodating with clubs organising and allow leeway off a few days but 4 weeks is just not possible. Again sorry for all the confusion hope you and the members will understand and we can avoid this happening again. Unfortunately I'm bound by the company and position I hold within that company. So after having to stall payment cause they lost Frozen Waffles entry form, they are now stripping us of our buddy passes... If this was me entering, I would pull out...
  15. Yeah but he agreed and then kicked up a massive stink about my actions... you were just suggesting what to do, which I appreciate (and would have done anyway had none of this come to fruitition), but 6 weeks can go and get f**ked... it was an error that had nuthin to do with me! and yeah, it was mostly luck... The police reckon I have an attitude problem too... Something about incompetence, being lied to and grossly inconveinced that really gets up my nose... You know what? I NEVER KNEW THAT! I had to google it... I've been spelling it wrong all this time
  16. lawl! Well I went to Hornsby RTA today (who were again very helpful), I was organising to get temp plates, which they already said they were going to wave the fee for, and have new ones made up, which they were also going to wave the fee for, but they said they wanted to do a final chase around ot see if they can find them... Called up a few places, dunno who, one would assume that Gordon police station was one, as after a bit of yelling and making them get off their fat arses and ACTUALLY LOOK FOR THEM, oh my god waddya know, they found them... So after being told they were sent from that station to Thronleigh RTA (lie) they were there the whole time... With a bees dick worth of luck, I am waiting for a letter of demand from the RTA, which will be sent to the police and myself demanding release of the plates. Probably a bit early to say it knowing my luck but... THIS TOOK A BIT LESS TIME THEN 6 WEEKS DIDN'T IT BLITZ?
  17. Friday is set-up, you can come after work most likely, just make sure it's clean, we pretty much do the rest If anyone can get a hold of Frozen Waffles, can they please contact me? This is very urgent and unless he REALLY wants to enter, he will not be entering. He has until about 3pm. I have called him, sent him a message, and am just about to PM him. I'll splain in more detail for anyone who can help...
  18. that would cost $300 a year... so not worth it If they could just tell me what they did with them I really wouldn't care... It's the lack of knowledge, communication, and the fact that the police just couldn't give two shits about the matter... I feel like I'm being bullied by the principal... bah... still gay...

aw man, I was watching the game with mates tonight! Not sitting behind the computer! I haven't had the net at home for 2 weeks... kinda got used to it but yeah... SmashT! like... hardcore... Re-match??
  20. Ummm... I was watching the slaughter... like... not fair, we weren't even playing the same game... the amount of times we bounced the ball forward, we were obviously playing handball... *sigh*
  21. AW SNAP! I was waiting for someone to bump this thread! Here's hoping for another clear cut victory!!! ... to the blues... if you're wondering...
  22. Maybe I'll go to Thornleigh then, they know me well there now I was advised that you can get temporary plates handed to you over the counter, so I will go to Hornsby first (on the way) and they can call whoever they like about it if they really need info... Pretty sure it costs $30 or something... that I won't be paying...
  23. Thanks Rich, I've actually decided to stop in to Hornsby RTA on the way to work tomorrow to do just that for now
  24. I have been actually, it's not like I'm driving anywhere Well, my plates are close by. I just have to find them and get them... This will take far less time then 6 weeks... So rather then doing nothing for 6 weeks and having to pay for new plates, I will call the authorites inquiring as to the whereabouts of my plates. Once they are found, I can go and pick them up the same day... same day < 6 weeks Yeah if I can't get onto someone who knows something today, I will call the RTA and see what there standard procedure is...
