if threads like this keep getting closed, how do we (sau customers) no if we can purchase off a good supplier.. we all dont drive f*kin gtr r34's an earn 60 80 100k a year sitting on a desk, some of these cars are hobbies to people on here and some are everyday cars, cars that get people to work and back, so they can pay bills and what ever else they need to work for, so ehy the f*k should we all be hidden from bad traders?????? im sorry i dont have money to blow on dodgy parts and im sorry if i only have 1 car to get me to work and back... FOR THE MODS: should all p.m eachother and try and work out a system to stop bullshit threads like this popping up.. my car is my life, if i cant get to work im f*kd, i can probably put my car in for services and what not for a couple days but to be left without a car for a week or more like a few people have been left without, is something that can really set me back in life... and again nothing directed at slide!!!!!

in case like this, i think its more who u know than what u no.. eg. i got friends panel beaters, cabnet makers, landscapers an so on, an i always f*k around on there tools, i have made a whole wall to wall t.v. entertainment set for my bedroom, i borrow my mates dingo (a strong shovle on 4 wheels) and landscaped my whole backyard, i change my own tyres at my mates tyre joint, and i no nothing about the above trades.. so maybe ask a mate thats in the same field as your in at uni, and from there some1 will no some1 who will no some1.. just an idea...

i rolled my gaurds with a steel pipe put the pipe in between the tyre an gaurd, depending on how much u want it rolled depends on the angle you put the pipe on (slightly=more horizontal heavy=more vertical) start from one side of the tyre an fit the pipe inbetween the gaurg an tyre, the get a mate to push ur car forward, which then the pipe will move along with the tyre which then you push down to get your gaurd the way u like it... if your not keen, habib above me has a good price..

depending on how much he is over, they will blood test him, then that can be used in court if the drunk doesnt want to co-operate with car damages.. i think he will be charged for drink driving, wreckless driving, indangering lives, blah blah blah, and you will be left to get money off him to fix your damages, lol which he will only put on a payment plan 20 dollars a month.. 2 wrongs dont make a wright so maybe the cops will deal with him an you will be left to sort your own shit out, unless u were injured in the smash, then i think the cops couldnt care less bout you.. always sucks when shit like this happens..

thats typical of dezz, jumping from one side of the fence to another, lol like u have never done a burnout or gone over the speed limit, and then sit on ur computer desk and type what you did a couple posts up , i admit i f*ked up when i was 18, but now 21 i have learnt an learnt the hard long way, with no licence... i have had numerous conversations with police "the good ones" telling me when they were young they use to take there cars an bikes off the clock on a empty straight, lol then give me a 500$ fine an loss of licence.. i also have to admit when they sit there and tell you u done wrong and explain why it was stupid to do 40km over the speed limit, you actualy listen, but when they fine you and are smart ass's, and have a joke that they caught you, you dont learn, you dont really give 2 f*ks what you get off them... its just educating the young drivers in a way that we will actualy listen and learn, insteed of seeing family members die, or killing your best mate while your drag racing, or losing your licence for 12months 2weeks after you get your licence when your 18, just have to find a way we will listen... no hard feelings dezz

graeme, whydont you try and help out and bring sau and other car forums together with the police, so we can all be friends, make cruize days, track days, cruize for charity days, there is a heap of stuff you can organise and pull some strings into stoping some of the bullshit targetting that us "P" platers cop from police.. yer there are those dum bastards that f*k it for the rest of us, but even holding beginer driver training days.. no shit you will become a hero in the car scene and you will be educating and helping "P" platers become more wise an safe on the roads.. thats all we need is 1 good officer to stand up for us an create an understandin to why there is "hooning" , and help stop and educate us young drivers killing ourselves and or others.. in all my 3 years of having a licence i have had it for 4 months leagally an soon loosing it agian for 10 months 4 something i did back in "05", like i have mentioned, i have been lucky for the stupid/fun things i have done, but having a job that takes you all over victoria, it teaches you how important it is to have a licence, at the time of getting my P's, i took it for granted but now i am over the fines, trains, buses and scabbing lifts from every1 and dont want to lose it again.. chris..

roy im with you, im a rb20 lover, but i have blown so much cash on cars its not funny, this will be my last built , cause priority is becoming a factor in my life now lol.. i just dont want to waste 10 to 15k on an engine build that hasnt got much more over a standard rebuilt rb20 with 17psi threw it with some nice lag... but still have to read up on this rb24 combo...

nothing was directed at slide.... but slide seeing this probably made them put a bit of pace to there arrangment with the unhappy customer.. no workshop or sponcer would like to see topics like this about them, but its good to see that they can be exposed for other members to way up the pro's and con's about workshops and sponcers... after all im sure not many off us have money to just burn, and atleast with threads like this, happy or unhappy customs can share there experiance and people can decide...

my r32 had standard turbo, i boosted it to 15 an thrashed from day 1, 2weeks later and even more thrashing, the thing started to squeel, lol then after more thrashing it was sqeeling on idle.. after 1 year of continuos squeeling and even more thrashing sold it 3weeks ago, only last night it blew lol and yes buy the sounds of the new owner he will need a engine rebuild...

are they the rims u got on , the gold ones.. if so sell em and get some dish

+1 for rays, crome lip and powder coated, thats how i got the rims, personaly didnt drop the rims off just going on what previous owner told me, but the job looked excelent..
