Now that I've seen that there are two Melbourne meets on this weekend I'd suggest we make it one of those. I've put myself down for the Sunday cruise.

What would you prefer - something at night or on the weekend? Nights - normally limited to shopping centre car parks etc. Weekends - cruise/meet at a park?

Hey all, Over the past few months I had been driving around with a fair amount of water/condensation in my driver's side headlight, I don't know how it got in there but it did. Anyway, after not having much luck with a search on the topic (people advising drilling holes in the actual headlight?!) I fixed the problem by removing the rear caps (for changing globes) and parking the car in the hot Melbourne sun for a couple of hours... Worked a treat. Car looks so much better now. Funky, Yarra Boulevard is already on the list. It's got a couple of nice places where you can get the city "skyline" as part of the picture too. I have some potential stuff down in Port Melbourne as well. Is that the Collins St. Bridge?

I also find that the light going on is not always consistent with level on the fuel guage. Eg. Once, I was touching the E with the needle without the light on. Other times I've had the light come on when it hits the bottom line. I've never put in 60L though! Can't image where the needle would be on my car for that! I normally get 400-450kms at the bottom line. My light also fades on/off as I drive, eg. gradually gets brighter/darker as the fuel level changes (while driving) - is this what you guys get?

I think what streamer was referring to is the difference between the noise of an NA exhaust and the noise of the turbo exhaust... The NA has a mechanical "zing" sound to it, which I don't ever want to give up even if my exhaust is inefficient. The turbo has a much lower quieter sound due to the greater flow/less restriction.

The factory quoted weight for the NA 2.5L is 1320kg from memory.

Since the R31, the 4-door Skylines until the R34 just looked awkward. The R34 is really nice (and it's still a Skyline!) but the Chaser's rareness and stock performance have my vote.

There were ads on the radio regarding a TAC student film competition. A buddy of mine submitted a proposal for this as well. My skyline was not used in it though...
