I received my renewal from JC the other day, apart from slashing my agreed value (which we've renegotiated to a point) they've made me Rating 1... quite happy due to R34 driver, 22yo, only had insurance for 1 year! Does anyone know how this would translate to another insurer? Am I likely to be granted a Rating 1 elsewhere?

The oil was from a young bloke in an RX4... he was pitted next to me. Plumed out blue smoke, he pulled up after turn 2 to assess. Limped it back to the pits. I think he blew the hose off the oil cooler. The poor Datto 1600 was covered in oil (was right behind him) and I got nice and out of shape at about 120 clicks on the main straight when I caught the slick...

I hated the 350GT when I first saw em... however now I am growing to like them... currently in terms of favour (from least to favourite) I'd say R33, R32, V35, R34 V35's look spectacular with the impul kit (Michael Longden at ISASO is doing some nice replica kits for these)

Hi all, Just a quick Q - is it common for dodgy coil packs to cause a miss, as well as the TCS, SLIP and Engine lights to come on? Noticed it the other day and haven't driven the car since. It happened for a minute or two, then went away after pulling over to idle, but occurred again when I was about 2k's from home. Is driving while in this state likely to cause damage to the car? It doesn't sound healthy - the miss makes it sound nice and lumpy, but for the wrong reasons

Ok, checked all under-dash fuses to no avail. Going to hunt around for the multimeter to check the head unit. Not going to be a happy camper if the HU is cactus...
