Thanks everyone. im just paranoid thinking there is heaps more to do. but as long as i have covered the basics then im happy.

i have done all the oils, spark plugs etc (the easy stuff) and i have a timing belt in the post. water pump and oil pump are on the list for when i put in a new turbo. is there anything else?

Hey all. i was just wondering what is involved in getting a major service done? what things should be replaced? apart from all the filters, oils, spark plugs etc what else is usually involved? thanks

hey i have a hks electronic boost controller up for sale. It has 3 adjustable settings: High, Low and a manual setting. The manual setting has a knob on the front to adjust how much boost you want to run quickly and easily. Reason for selling: i just bought a Greddy profec B spec II so i no longer need it. condition: Good. Havent had any problems with it. and i have never experienced boost spike with it. hey guys, this may sound stupid but i really need to get that little coin slot that is in drivers side of the dash. i gotta have it within 2 weeks because my dash is getting painted and i dont have one. if anyone could help me out it would be much appreciated. i have looked everywhere and i cant find any. by the way i have a series one R33 and i am in brisbane. not sure if any other models have it or not but if it fits i dont mind. thanks

i have the exact same problem with mine at the moment. have u turned up the boost by any chance? im pretty sure its fuel cut in my opinion not the fuel pump but the fuel pump can contribute if running higher boost. if u turn your boost rite down to around stock psi and give it a run on the highway and see if it still does it. i just put in a SAFC2 and its getting dynoed very soon, so that should fix the prob for me. another option is to go out and spend heaps on a power fc, or a mines ecu which is way cheaper and it has fuel cut defender built in along with a few other goodies. or u could get a fuel cut defender and have it tuned by someone who knows what they are doing. its so obvious too. the guy adjusted your fuel cut defender when it last got serviced. theres the answer. i suggest going to another person who really knows how to specifically tune your car/afc. well thats my opinion anyway, feel free to correct me if im wrong because i am no expert at this. i hope u fix the problem soon. good luck

Hey all, i was just wondering if anyone knows if any R33s in Australia have had the front end converted to an R34 front end? eg. guards, headlights, bonnet and front bar. I know it has been done overseas, just wondering if its been done here?

hey i have the exact same problem in my r33. It never smelled like fuel in the cabin until i put in a larger fuel pump a few weeks ago. im goin to check mine to see if there are any leaks in my hoses in the boot. im sure its coming from there in mine.
