They don't all ware cardigans and smoke a pipe. Slot car went well 1 min 45.56, KAAZ fixed traction problem although being 2 way it pushes the car into a few corners so looking at doing something here. Reedy if looking here what is your KAAZ one or 1.5 or 2 way? Can't wait for the big one with the SAU Vic boys 10th November.

Just put my new 20 plate 2 way KAAZ diff in my love boat so will see how it goes on Sunday. Soemone sais some track day is on at Bathurst this wekend but can only watch and have to qualify and all, I would rather be driving at Eastern Creek. By the way well done Adam for organsing this big day as I know it would have been a lot of effort.

By the way I just spoke with Daren Mews with his modded S14 Drift car and he is going to be out there with us, and we will be out together this time for big show down. Keep an eye on your mirrors if out there at same time, althogh probably not.

Only joking by the way and I was waiting for a reply about " slow just looked good." Darren beat me by about half a second. Rematch at the next SAU track day 8th October.

It should not get this hot so quick although you do push it and have decent power, which is more heat. We can move oil cooler down to one of the corners of front of car with ducting and away from radiator will help. Will check thermostat is opening properly, and radiator in good conditon, ducting and sealing off radiaotr for full flow and or larger radiator. GTR challenge on hold as no serious GTR contenders at the moment???? Waiting.. Although Pete from Advan may turn up with something tough, like that Yellow R33 beast? We do have Darren Mews, who drives in Drift Australia pro class with his highly modded S14 coming to possibly knock me off the fence, and possibly not? He has ran a 1 min 6.8 or close there to which is close to my best 1 min 6.57. Big talk up between he and I and should be very close and both of us should beet these times on Sunday.

We have been doing lots fo mods to the Slot Car ready for the day and plan on doing a 1 min 5. Also sorting out a few GTR's and GTS-T 's including corner weighing and supension and brake set ups. I don't have a problem with someone not recommending or warning others if genuine and preferably consistent poor service but not if exaggerated. Also if one person at a business as seems in this case a mechanic and years ago it seems then it does not mean that business is not good for ever more. I do not know who you are but I have sent a PM to Wateva to find out who and what and where years ago so I can at least see what happened or did not happen. Wateva you wonder why some are taking your post as aggressive or possibly over the top and not asked for anyway but rather where to go. If we were stealing form you or actually doing really bodgy work and did not want to do anything about it then different. It is so rare even though we do some very technical difficult work one can bank on some not understanding or taking things the wrong way or as mentioned can't be pleased. I can't comment on this case at all as I said I don't know who Wateva is or his car and years ago and probably a few thousand Skylines later. I know I always try and do the right thing by customer to the point where I regularly get handles but give customer the benefit of the doubt and warrant and cover costs I am sure few workshops would. Tell us who you are or PM me with rego details and name and I look up what terrible thing we did.

Wow sounds like poor service. Hard to please all the people all the time and with the huge amount of cars we work on bound to have something go wrong. Love to know who you are and what car etc. Might reply to my PM. We have three awesome mechanics at the moment. did the apprentice thing a few years back but no more. Did you bring it back to us to rectify at all??

I will be there with my wife from 12 to about 1.30pm in the Investa Property Group corporate suite 3. No Zeds though but keen to see the Winfield GTR again.

We are running an event in the afternoon called Super Lap, Time Attack. Warm up lap then best of three timed laps with handicaps for slicks or semi slicks, and trophies. Should be hotly contended with some serious cars coming as per usual. Hey Richard Barron been busy. Jason and I finally got out together and had a top battle and yes let him get past on a corner as it was getting a bit dangerous with much slower cars, then I overtook him cleanly a few laps later. Through John Webb Porsche driver in the car and was hammering down the straight with Jason and, well the zed kept going. I had good slicks on front but very old and hard rear slicks and was rediculous, and yes Jason got away from me coming onto the straight especially as I was wheel spinning like a champion and had to short shift, same at end of straight but would catch up over dog leg and down the hill under brakes. Will have some half decent slicks next time out and will have some after this weekend round at Oran with the Porsche cup on.

Silly me for thinking Benm may not be at this one. I have John Webb coming with me tomorrow and also probably Jose Ferndez who both might have a drive of the slot car. John Webb is Porsche GT3 Cup driver and Jose Fernadez driving V8 Supercar next weekend. They may be available to passenger or drive, to show those who want to see how it is done.

Slot car will be there for spanking?? As long as not raining. Got my new brakes fitted and sorted. Bump steer fixed, corner weighed and corrected, moded a few suspension angles but very old slicks on rear so she will be tailey.
