Hey Snowman can I put a link or can you to NSW events to get some of the Sydney crowd along for Wakey or more likely Eastern Creek this Friday?? I think the Sydney crowd would be bait for you guys though. GTR Jason you there?? Also Troy have you got your car fixed and coming?

My zed is stock too. Stock UAS zed version. Nice Link Beer Baron and these are probably the best arms on the market. Geometry changes Some good info here but it is not a matter of just throwing these parts at the car and need to measure adjust and test. The bump steer fixing rod ends outer sockets need to be tested on the car as we found a few mm either way made a big difference to bump steer. They are often too low and need to be machined or spacers removed if they come with this option. Bottom line is there is a sweet spot and need to measure bump steer changes to find this spot or ideal height of these steering arms. Also changing roll centre by fitting these lower arms with roll centre adjustable rod ends over power the top arms and cause more camber and toe change even though it does raise the roll centre. It is better to raise the pivot point on the top arms on cradle which we are in process of doing. Lot easier to do a GTR than a zed as chassis rail on zed is lower and tighter clearance.

Made it back home last night. Washed some of the grass and dirt of the Slot Car. I got sucked in turning early on last corner onto the straight and sort of run out of black stuff and rear stepped out on me at high revs in fourth, so must have gone off at over 200ks and managed to keep her off the wall which was looking nasty at one point. Yes grass went flying over the car, so yes I really did cut their grass. Blocked the intakes a bit and water temps went to 123c. The in car vid should be good TOM????? Had a great weekend, you guys in Vic and Team Wang sure have it going on done there. Hope to turn it on a bit for you guys when you come up to the Sydney tracks and lets rev up the Sydney guys to lose their hand bag and have a go. Some testing times for Jack but you made a day of it anyway and sure to be out there bigger and better. Well done to ferni and others who improved. Yes and Sam's time is awesome and he got my attention, I tracked him down and gave him a call and went and spent the afternoon in his shed out in middle of nowhere on the way home, and I learnt a lot from him. He has an immaculate prepared car and he confirmed some geometry suspension pivot point changes I was looking to do with Akerman and control arms angles or geometry etc. I have to get the Slot Car sorted and ready for Circuit Battle this Thursday at Wakey.

Yeah go Paul I was waiting for the come back and well done. Yep had way too hard suspension, way back with D2 we were testing, and very average and way too hard for drag racing. I would be chearing if I can run a low 10 and 9's is awesome. 25psi is a lot and how much more do you think it will run as may not boost any more than that?

I just did a search on Whereis.com.au and found out Cowes is on Phillip Island. Where is So Sunday according to wheatherzone says 17c for Sunday msotly sunny. Although the other link on weather.com.au says 14c? I might leave my radiator at home. Weatherzone

Sold the Autronic with CDI with motor, radiator etc a few years back and allowed us to do more tinkering and work out how to convert GTR Power FC to run on a zed. Could not get D Jetro at the time when we needed it. Re the weather is Melbourne the closest and best to compare or Cowes, or where is that anyway? Cowes says 14c for Sunday and Melbourne is 19c?

E Creek had trouble with car as had faulty AFM which did not show upon dyno at all the day before. Today we changed to D Jetro so NO MORE AFM's and gives us other options. Car has never been so good and all keen and will be ready.

L2S day on at Eastern Creek tomorrow 12th October which I am taking the boat out and do some testing and make sure all good for Phillip Island next week.

A minor off I had which was ok was Oran Park when power steering locked and I went straight ahead at the dog leg. This was no where near as scary as turn one at Philip Island and suspension unloaded and did a big wobble at big speed and though I was going for a big off. Video

Hmmmm ok then 43's it is and I would be very happy with that. Yes that turn one is a big balls fast corner way more than Eastern Creek turn one. Looking at the ocean doing 280ks then hit brakes a bit then bend to right is awesome.

Go Jack and this is going to be the biggest track day in Australia ever for GTR's and others. How many sleeps left??? I can't wait. Hey Jack I will follow you to learn this track which I have been playing over in my mind since I was there in Easter. I will then give it the button on the straight with the boost turned right up this time. I reckon with good condition and the bigger rear wheels and suspension geometry mods and more I will be 45's or better.

fats I enjoy your courage and ability but 1 min 50in a R31 like pushing a brick and you are dreamin and my shout if you even get within a second or so of this. I will be there with bells on and new mods to zed should give you Mexicans a run. Will also have wider rear wheels and tyres and will be turning up the boost with the BUTTON. I just emailed Ben from Rae Pace to tell him I will be down for this one. He has got to get his beast out to this one. Snowman I take it there will be enough spots for all?
