Rear R31 disc conversions a quite common on 1600 and work rather well if the handbrake cable is done properly. My 1600 had 200b front struts and rotors. U can upgrade the calipers to 4 pot toyota hilux from memory. Also u can put 240K discs on the front also. U will need to get urself a bigger brake booster for the system to cope properly. Land rover, Range Rover almost the same ting. these car are expensive is because they are known as "luxury" 4WD. u pay the big bucks for the choice of three engines for their vehicles. u pay for the airbag suspension and all the other luxury crap that goes with it. i know a guy that bought a brand new land rover discovery 3 off the showroom floor and it has been through 2 diffs, new airbag suspension, 2 engines and some minor stuff. he says its the shittest car he has ever owned. plus he forked out 80k for it too. personally i dont like them or would buy one for the price tag they want.

Get some little plastic grommets to bung in the holes. or put a couple of pieces of stickytape ova them.

Why dont u try to take the last 3 off.? One way that i have got rusted locknuts off is to drill say a 6mm hole in the centre. Buy ur self a lefthand thread tap and tap a thred into the lock nut. buy some high tensile steel bolts and screw them in. attach a socket wreng or level bar to the head of the bolt. When u apply torque to the bolt it wont undo because they are trying to tighten. Be careful though not to drill into the wheel stud. Then buy urself some new nuts and 1 set of descent locknuts. ive done it works even on rusted locknuts and it works. C how u go if not then u might be able to buy soem of ebay or somewhere in japan still might sell them.

where its held down on the floor at the front of the seat put a long screwdriver under that part and woink it up. do the same on the other side and u should be able to take the bottom section out. To take the back section out just under the two bolts on either side at the bttom push it up then it should be loose. dont be scared to use a litle force.

hahaha if water has gotten under the rocker cover then it prob has been mixed with the oil. which is not a good thing. check the oil cap underneath to see if the oil has white blotches. u havent put the hose in the exhaust to clean it out have u?

in africa they are still making 1200's but over there they call them cherry's. If it was imported from there then that wat it prob is. A 720 is no longer made by nissan datsun so if it was modern it wouldnt be that. u might be able to import them from africa if u have the knowledge and $$$$.

My m8 bought a S13 SR20DE from uniparts for $500 with low km's. The engine ur lookin at has done huge km's. I wouldnt pay more than $300 for it. A manual box can be bought for around $400 dependin on series and condition.

Check the level of oil when the car is warm at idling then fill the bottle and check the level when bottle is been emptied. If the oil level changes u either have a crack in the gasket or a warped head. Has the temp level changed whilst goin for a drive.? Let the car idle for a while on ur driveway or a clean surface. c if any coolant is leaking anywhere. Tighten all clamps and check the bottom and top tanks of the radiator to see if there are any leaks, also check the cap and hear if there is any hissing or coolant loss. Other than that take it to a radiator place for a test. Ryan

I just got my R32 GTST insured with justcar. Valued at $11500, excess is about $1500. im 20 with no previous crashes or claims with a rating of 3. I pay $1562 a year. All they listed mods where spoiler and exhaust, no stereo nothing else. Shannons wont insure car without a locked carport/garage. They also charged me $4500 a year comp. No other companies will insure an under 25 import car driver. My old mans broker rang them all. Does any1 know with justcar if ur car is a write-off are you able to keep the car?

Seriously wat is the point of putting a flame thrower on.? Waste of money, and has serious wang factor. If exhausts is ur thing, put a 13B turbo rota in ur skyline (presuming u have 1 since this is a skyline forum) they get backfires and flames. Dont put 1 on its pathetic, highly dangerous and illegal.

Im chasing some parts to make a cheap intake cold box. I need a 90deg 3" piece about 400mm total length to connect from turbo pipe to afm. Preferably chrome piping for looks or exhaust piece will do. I also need 3"-5" flexible intake about 1m Long piping from front bar to box. Has any1 chucking these parts out or have any laying around. Note: This is a bugdet job so low prices would be good. What a waste of money!! Spent a total of 15 minutes there. i personally didnt get anything out of it. Only about 40 cars which is ludacris for the ticket price. I and me mates wont be goin back there again!

What is the diameter of the threaded section of a spark plug that fits in a RB20DET engine?

Plz some1 do a HICAS removal tutorialin the tut/DIY section for each model. R32 R33 R34. I have been searching everywhere and cannot find much info and not any people how to go about. Then we can finally cure this hicas crap. Picz and parts needed would be nice also. Ryan
