  1. maybe just its interior was previously damaged, so they had to replace the dash and mix n matched.. or perhaps it previously put out 600hp, and had 12 guages across the dash, leaving holes, which they couldnt hide, so they replaced the dash
  2. LOL *emails it off to 300zx owning friend* i wonder how it feels to fly 60m through the air in a car, AND LAND IT.. i bet if the guy is really up making his excuse of 'i blacked out' he is secretly proud. but yeah i think he is dumb. at least he didnt hit someone else.
  3. i always see that silver 355 on george st.. i expect its the one with the plates LTSRYD or similar right? i saw it do a ful sik burnout at the rocks once
  4. ??? am i reading correctly... 7.5/30 is thin!
  5. so thats how u paid for all you mods eh! jks.. i started a thread like this months ago.. there was a rattling noise in my door, i pulled the lining off and found a 'GT" badge(like the on on the side of a skyline) inside the cavity!
  6. aybee: dont listen to these guys saying they would spend 22k on a gtr instead of your car. if u spent that little on a gtr, you would most likely be spending a lot more in the end to keep it going. A car like yours is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it, and by someone offering 18k, it shows that your asking price is not completely unreasonable.
  7. hey thanks. engine blew (ringland on cyl 6) whilst the previous owner had it. so when he rebuilt he used forgies as they didnt cost too much extra than stock cast pistons. in im inner city sydney. 120000kms. it was imported in 1998 with 40000kms and has history since.

  12. my mate has a worked 91 camry with 3sfe 2.0 in it i think.. he even dynoyed it lol.
  13. www.toymods.org.au they will know everything
  14. u wont need a head gasket, stocki compression is fine as long as you tune it properly. do u have power fc? u will need aftermarket management. bottom end will be fine once again is tuned properly. i have seen 340rwkw(290 for everyday driving) on a stock bottom end, with no problems.
  15. lol gtr - gts-t slim body conversion
  16. Hey, i myself did not do it, a friend did on his 300zx. the front and rear are bonded in the same way, with a sort of glue. he preheated the oven to medium heat, or around 180 degrees, but i am not sure how long he left it. probably just took it out after a few mins to see if it was ready sort of like baking a cake lol He did it because he was planning on spray painting a part of the headlight silver, which he did, it looks excellent now
  17. someone i think put up a guide on how to remove the heater core just recently. if u search for it it should come up.
  18. im surprised nothing of use has come up
  19. s03s are a good tyre though.. good tyres = pricey. especially huge sizes like 255s. i just got a set of pirelli p6000s,, 255/40/zr17 for $90 each. catch= second hand. one was at least 95% there.. the other was 30% gone on one side and 50% in the middle(done care about that part too much so yeah had to make sure the new edge of that one was on the inside. but still. it would have cost me double 180 to get just one good new tyre. so even if i use them for half as long its good value
  20. not being technical at all here. but i just took my friends 300zxtt for a spin, he just fitted a lightweight underdrive pulley kit.. the main pulley is 800g compared to the original 8kg.. and it DEFINETLY accelerated heaps harder.. reved faster. made the whole car feel lighter, as if the engine had less of a job to do.
  21. yea all this bitching is retarded. anyway i dont believe that dyno graph if it was with low mounts either...
  22. yes it is fine, because the 40 or 45 rating is just an indication of a ratio of the height of the tyre wall compared to the width of the tyre. So obviously if 235:45 and 255:40 mean that the tyre heights will be similar. if both the tyres were the same then the ratio would mean that one tyre had a definetly higher side wall. i have the same tyre sizes as you btw, and they are fine.
  23. lets get together and start a top class detailing company, charging like hell for it
  24. Im with justin on the swirls issue, in pics usually u just cant see swirls. I present to u two huge pics. sorry to all those 56k users Both cars have LOTS of swirls. One black one red, u cant see swirls in either so
