  1. Thanx mate I think i'll go with the link.
  2. Mafia I said the same thing, nearly fell over when he told me 1800 (advan). I'm still yet to try performance wise. Thanx 700hp. sorry paulr33 I forgot to mention that part. A P engineering. The reason why I want the map sensor PFC is from the stupid vacum spring thing that was mentioned a couple of issues ago in HPI. Its pretty bad. I'm not fussed at all with the bov, it was cool when i first got it but I got over it pretty fast so the plum back is back on it. It doesn't stall but it gets close still. Nothing wrong with my AFM either, tested with another one and got a new one for peice of mind and its still the same. New plugs, silicon hoses, coils, etc. no air leaks. Sydneykid, I was considering doing the chip and tune to my ECU but I really want the most I can get. And its not just that. A few friends of mine had there STD ECU's chipped and tuned and then later purchaced a PFC. It wasn't the power increase that made them happy, it was the way the car drove and responded after the PFC. I don't know if this was true because I never drove the car before and after myself so I really don't know if they are just full of it or not but hey, if I can get more power than I'll take it. As RB30 said, the link doesn't sound too bad at all but I can't seem to find many people with one and I really don't want to just take the salesmans word for it. Snoman you are the first person to give me hands on info about these link ecu's. Where did you get yours from cause advan performance seems to be the only place that has these, but then again, I've only been looking for a day or 2. Did you get the plug in, wire in, link, or link plus? I think the one I was shown was the Link plug in so I don't think I get launch and boost control. If you've got the wire in what did you get charged to install it? Does the link affect the speed sensative steering as I've heard the PFC does? Anyone heard about the little things that should be installed when upgrading 32 GTST inj's? He said something about the std inj's are low imperdance so they are a must apparently. I didn't know that Munna1. Thanx man I'm confused now sorry about the late reply. I'm on night shift this week. thanx.
  3. Yesterday I did some shopping for my R32 GTST and i was recomended a link plug in ecu because apparently its very hard to find a power fc d-jetro for R32's. and cheaper too. $1500 for the link and $1800 for the PFC. The link does have the map sensor instead of the AFM same as the PFC. Please help as I have no idea which to choose. I always thought PFC was the way to go but now I'm just confused. I could have sworn that I have seen D-jetros going for 1400 but can't remember where. I was also told if I am installing bigger injectors, I need to install these little things(sorry.... can't remember the name of them) in the injector loom because the standard inj's are low imperdance. Is this true? Thanx

  8. Doh!!!!!!!!! Thats the second time I've missed out on this one. I'll look out for it next week.
  9. Thanks for that guys. greatly appreciated. Is it special order stuff or can i get it from most shops?
  10. Hey guys, I changed the oil in my box a month ago and ever since then if I change gears pretty hard at high revs it just crunches. What oil should I be using or what do you prefer and why? Thanx
  11. Spotted a white r33 "MR33GT" at the park in kingslangley down the street from my house.
  12. black with a green pearl mate. I've done it a thousand times and looks great!!!! Green is pretty much the only pearl that won't change the true shine or colour of a black base coat as mentioned earlier. Try to keep away from the black and silver cause it will be a waste of money. It will either completely change the colour of your car or you just won't see it. Pearls usually only work well when matched to the right colour. Violet works ok too. Hope I helped. Good luck
  13. kaaz diffs for $1050!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/lofiver...php/t76985.html

  16. Am I the only one having a problem looking at page 433?
  17. So where do you take your car out for a spin? It can be for example.... a hard run up a mountain or just a nice relaxing drive with a good veiw. Anything!!! POST AWAY PEOPLES Here is mine. Great western hwy from one end to the other to find a run or two If you head out to Emu plains and head up old bathurst rd and follow it all the way up theres a heaps cool bendy mountain to go through. After that if you can figure out where it is, there is a down hill and pretty windy road that is oneway The bridge next to the F3 at brooklyn. Heading back to Sydney is very windy for ages. Putty rd, heading out to Singleton. Long but good
  18. Looks pretty good I got myself a custom made one from Roadrunner for $220. I just don't trust Ebay any more as I've had a few bad experiences.
  19. You could try autobarn out there but if you want to come out my way, go to motorsport connections foundry road seven hills. Its off abbot rd just before the start of the M2. They have any size you need dude.
  20. Sorry barron can't say. Trust me its not from ebay. I bought it from a place that alot of people in Sydney go to and are trusted. Its all good matt, I got all the good toys in the garage. Was thinking about welding it properly as you said and then making up a rubber gasket so it doesn't leak. does anybody know if I need to use chemically treated rubber so it doesn't fall apart from the oil? It didn't feel too bad but I just don't trust the design. I fixed it quite easily though..... SSS automotive sold me an original shifter for 30 bucks Done and done. they had a brand new one there (can't remember the brand) that looked really good for 250. It even came with the 4 bolt boot that bolts to the floor pan, and it was part of the shifter too.
  21. No prob. I highly doubt that nismo would put there name on something that would break and not seal properly.
  22. That is beautiful. I tried so hard to get a V-spec, in the end I just gave up and spent the money on mine Well done.
